I suppose you could try. Mine puffed up quickly. The other option is to return it and it and get another one that may puff up better.

hello thanks for your question. this leg elevation pillow is designed for two legs being elevated for back sleepers. but yes it works for side sleepers as well if you are a side sleeper. the tester shown in the video said it's quite comfortable when he slept this way with two legs elevated. hope the answer helps.
