I have been ordering these and using them for years and years my dogs love them so much that the first two that we got is all rusted on the top and the only thing that we have found that happens after years of use is they start to leak but holy cow they've lasted 5 or 6 years and my husband has just kept fixing them my German shepherds love these things and I will just continue to buy them because I put them in the yard where the grass is not getting wet enough and they play with them so much that waters the grass for me I hope that they don't stop making these i've tried the plastic ones and within 24 to 48 hours the plastic ones have broke these are the only things that hold up to my dogs

I will return to update the review once I try the product out. This product loses one star out of the box for not including a Y shape valve adapter as was promised in the description. I’ve included a photo of part of the instructions to show that the manufacturer even writes that a Y adapter can be purchased separately from a hardware store - showing that it wasn’t a quality control issue at packaging but rather an information updating on the Amazon description.

The media could not be loaded. I like that is easy for the dog to use, I don't like that it leaks at the connection to the hose. As you can see in the video, she noticed and decided it was fun to make it leak more there because if you bend it a certain way it sprays out between the fitting connection. Not my hose and it but between the hose fitting that came with it.

My dog doesn’t really need a dog water fountain to survive, but her water fountain truely complements her bizarre but fun personality. I read an article today that summarized a long-term study of pets and how they suggested that there’s a chance all pets are miserable because they live in a human world with human rules so they’re out of their element and objectively speaking, in reality, it’s actually NOT a symbiotic relationship. I don’t subscribe to this theory. Look at Midge in this video! Does it look like she’s suffering? If she is, then our entire general understanding of dogs and cats is completely inaccurate. Bottom like: it enhances my dog’s life and limits the frequency of her drinking out of the toilet when I forget to lower the seat. Impressed by the solid frame... I was worried my dog would immediately destroy it since her default ‘go to’ reaction to any problem in her life that she can’t solve is ‘total destruction’ until something maybe happens (or the human comes home and there’s a chance they might yell at me and there’s a good chance I’ll have no idea why they’re yelling). Back to the product: this thing is tough and can take a beating. Well engineered, well constructed and I feel it’s well worth the money in my opinion.

We bought ours in NOV2019, just as winter was arriving. We live in the perfect weather of California (it never freezes here), but being cooler during winter means that the fountain gets very little use. The valve sticks in the down-position and stays ON all the time after using the foot pedal. I have oiled the piston that drives the valve, but that does not fix it. The Springs (one inside the valve and one to push the pedal back up after turning the water ON) are a factor of 2X not strong enough. Water is expensive where we live, so it costs us a lot when the fountain stays ON, overnight for example. And the pedal around the edges and underneath is rusting thru the white paint. Customer Support has answered every email back and forth, but could not get approval from their management to have the valve repaired or the springs improved. instead, they offered 20% off of buying a new one. Ouch, I'd have to pay more than $100 to get two, hoping that one works (maybe by mixing the parts of each) ... and summer is not here yet (APR2020) to use it full-time. No thanx. I see other Reviewers with the same exact problems and they bought theirs within one month of my purchase. I think the company must have received a bad batch of the valves, but they won't spend the $5-per-valve (guesstimate on amount) to help us customers. There are so many other companies on Amazon who jump-thru-hoops to help customers and to improve their products ... not this company. :-(

Wow, I've wanted one of these forever but had no idea how awesome this product actually is! Installation took under a minute and took maybe 5 minutes to get my dog to hit the pad of it all by himself.All I did was install the 3-way connector (awesome, by the way. You can turn one or both of the outgoing tubes on or off so you can leave this fountain hooked up AND water your garden). Then just screw on the hose for the fountain, and screw the fountain onto that hose. Tada. Put it on the ground.At first my dog didnt seem interested but after the first 2 times of showing him how to work it, he was all about it and drank with it from ease.The spray isn't high pressure, about the same as your normal hose, so for me it sprayed up about a foot, foot and a half from the fountain. That's perfect for him being a German shepherd.Can't wait to use this every day when the weather is a tad less cold, but even now he loves it already!

The media could not be loaded. We inherited my Dads 12 yr old Sheppard after he passed away. This Dog was going crazy when my sprinklers would come on . This Dog Toy solved the problem ! It is easy for him to push ; it’s inexpensive but entertains him while keeping him cool and giving him fresh water at any point in time . He may have laryngitis in a few hours Lol
