I don't know. I live in Hewitt Texas and I have to order from Amazon as there isn't a store around here that carries it.

Is this suitable for weight-loss?

Barbara's Oak Crunch is not advertised as a weight loss cereal. It is Heart Healthy, high fiber cereal. For me, Barbara's Oak Crunch is a healthy, great tasting, whole grain cereal.

Was this cereal formerly sold as barbara's bakery shredded oats? if so, has it changed much? thanks.

I have been eating this cereal for years and I'm not sure if it was called something different. It hasn't changed in all the years I've been eating it. It has been at least 10 years so I don't think it has changed.

Does it get soft when is in the milk or is hard? Also is it sugary compared to life original cereal? Thanks!

I love this cereal! The little 'biscuits' don't get soggy in the milk, but they aren't especially hard to start with. (I often eat them out-of-hand for a snack.) I am not familiar with life original cereal, but this is pretty low in sugar (10g). I don't like sugary cereal at all.

These little squares are a great snack even without milk. The box is a little flimsy especially when shipped in butcher paper during a snowstorm. The inner bag kept the cereal crispy.
