Loved it!
Absolutely stunning! There's quite nothing like this. This book must be read by one and all. It's a mirror gleaming onto all of us mortals. It's sensational, sublime and haunting. This for sure has affected me the same way Dostoyevsky's Notes from the underground did a few years ago.. Highly recommend.

Facing our own imperfections
The story of Jean-Baptiste Clamence, who opens up about his life and struggles with GUILT and SELF-DECEPTION. The novel made me think a lot about how people often judge others while hiding their own flaws.Clamence's reflections on his past mistakes and his search for redemption felt really relatable, especially when it comes to facing our own imperfections. It's a deep, thought-provoking read that left me questioning how we all deal with our own actions and the world around us.

The Fall by Albert Camus
It's a wonderful book. I liked this copy for its printing purposes. The cover page is simple and neat, with a texture that feels rough to hand and has a vintage feel to it.Loved it!!

Everyone is a Judge-penitent in some way.
Makes you Quite disconcerting, sometimes sympathize, and even feel a little disgust for jean baptiste clamence, but the character is meant to do that & it is absolutely normal to feel so. The character is well written for a 90 pager. I very much prefer robin buss translation over justin o briens one. (But it is my opinion as this one is more palatable to me). I would very much encourage anyone to read the book first and have a first hand opinion then look up the videos on youtube for much more, it at all by doing it can have shifting through different perspectives.

Are there still people who can digest Camus?
Nietzschian idea in equally powerful prose. Camus is right of course; but are there still people left who have digestion strong enough for these ideas?

I like the literature
Much Heavier reading than "The Stranger". I like the literature , the philosophy can be a bit tiresome.

It was difficult to stop myself from highlighting every word,. A marvelous book. Looking forward to read more of Albert Camus's philosophy.
