Expected this highly priced product to be far better than others, but not any different from others in comfort. Just started using it, may be durable but has nothing in it to truly support or relieve back pains, etc.

Nice cushion and comfortable

I know that this is meant for a chair - but I have a nice deep soaking tub and I actually use it as cushion in my tub. It's lovely. Cushions, without being squishy and it stays in place. It just makes a nice soak so very much more comfortable. It does NOT soak up the water at all... it did come with a pull on cover (it is NOT zippered as described in the ad)... It pulls on like a pillow sham does...I don't use it. It's a thin, filmy cover.. probably works better if you actually using on a chair. The filmy cover is apparently washer/dryer approved. The cushion is white, the filmy cover is black. The cushion has a kind of knobby texture that I was little concerned about - but it is actually not a problem. An instruction sheet comes with it to show you which is the front and back for the best posture - for my use, it's really more about the cushion and less about posture. I just like it. And am thinking about one for my older car (2006) I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

I am currently in my early 50's and have had two arthroscopic hip surgeries in my mid-40's. These surgeries have helped me tremendously, but as time goes on the hip and back pain sometimes rear (sorry for the pun) themselves again. I use this product on top of my leather chair at work. Before I found this product, I would use other Amazon memory foam seat cushions that work for a few months, but the slowly flatten over time. I bought the one I am currently using about 13 month again and the foam is holding up very well. The hump is meant to be in the front of the product and helps position you properly in your chair. This greatly alleviates the pain I was experiencing from sitting all day!! I have let two other people in my office with sciatica pain borrow three different chair products in my office and we all agree that this was the best, most comfortable of the three for your office chair. After they tried I bought them each their own and they love them as much as I do. If you have hip or sciatica pain, you should still try to get up and move around periodically throughout the day, but this product is simply amazing!! Thanks for a great, well-made product that stands the test of time.

The item ships as advertised. We are using it for back problems. Upon opening we tried sitting on it with the middle front hump in the back but it actually seems to be designed for the hump to be in the front. The fingered projections underneath are quite stiff so I can see where this seat would not appeal to everyone and it was not really comfortable for us. That being said, we flipped it and tried it as a backrest and Wow...it worked great. The hump fits in the small of the back and gives wonderful support so that is how we use it! It comes with a convenient cover too.

It just didn't work out for me. Though it was evidently well made, I found it to not offer much in the way of additional comfort when used with my office chair. It also still got hot spots despite the holes and air circulation built in. This is not say it wouldn't work for other, and I'm sure it will, but I was really hoping for more. I returned it for a refund and had no problems doing so.

Kayak fishermen alert! This is the best seat you can find if you need extra comfort hands down! Water proof, doesn't absorb any water, wipe off and wa-la! For the past 3 years I've honestly tried every other product under $75 and still lower back pain after 3-4+ hours of straight fishing. This is the solution to keep you on the water longer when the bite is hot and its the last seat I will ever buy! For $25, YES!! I have a 2013 Hobie with the old school seat with inflatable lumbar except the butt portion blows, always puddles and soaks my bottom! The smaller pad (square, not rectangle) is the perfect size! I will be buying a few more for my friends just cuz that's what friends do!!!
