Bought this as a huge fan of the Omega Select Plus range of products, and I love cooking in this handi! Given that it is now as wide open as the regular kadhai, gravies don't splash while boiling, and it is SO much easier to handle. The non-stick coating in this range of products works like a dream, and lasts for a couple of years if taken care of properly. But it all comes down to usage. I end up changing it every year or so due to poor usage (scrubbing with sharp metal spoons) by some at home. That said, this is an excellent buy, and definitely has an adequate volume to cook for 6 people comfortably. It is deceptively large, though it looks small on the outside and doesn't take up much space on the stove. Buy it, you won't regret it at all!

We used to cook biryani but now we stopped

It's an excellent product from prestige. It is very good for biryani preparation on gas stove, at home. If you want to cook calcutta biryani (with potato), you can only have three and half plates, otherwise without potato you can have four plates. (like chicken tikka biryani, mutton akhni pulao, etc.) it is a complete biryani handI so biryani lovers may try for this item.
