37400500006 Stainless Steel Coffee Dozer, Multi-Colour

This is an incredibly nifty little device that precisely and neatly dispenses the perfect amount of espresso grounds regardless of the size of your Moka pot. I was a bit worried before purchasing that this wouldn't fit my 1-cup Moka pot, as the bottom of the device isn't pictured in the product listing. I'm attaching a photo of it here, and I'm pleased to report that it does in fact work for all sizes of Moka pots including the 1-cup (see inner white ring that is covered in espresso residue). The first few times I used the dozer, it took a bit of adjusting to get it positioned properly over my Moka pot, but after that I've gotten it easily every time. The bottom lid does fit pretty snugly, so I don't usually close it tightly. In my opinion, having the convenience of this device sure beats the mess and wastage from having to spoon espresso in by hand!

I discovered the Dosa Caffe in Italy at a friend's home. You fill it with espresso coffee and then place it on top of your moka, turn the knob and it releases the perfect dose of coffee. You only need to fill it with coffee about every two weeks - but that depends on your need for coffee. I was pleased to find one in the USA. This one is more attractive and modern looking than those found in Italy - but they work just the same. It is simpler and less messy than filling with a spoon....

If you use a stovetop espresso maker like I do every single day this item is an absolute necessity save so much time and makes the process so much cleaner and easy. I wish I had bought this sooner

Well, it sorta works as stated. I’ve been searching a little to find the correct grind size and have been using my standard espresso grind size. I feel like the coarser size is still too fine for this dispenser. The return on the knob resists coming back to center and I have to give it some oomph. Even after 5-10 times, my Bialetti doesn’t fill completely. I’ve even tried turning the base after each knob turn. I noticed today that I am getting grinds coming out of my knob and, in general, some grinds get stuck in the opening of the funnel and falls onto counter. I’ll try an even coarser grind to see if the fill gets better but a bit annoyed with grinds coming out of the knob. It does save time and keeps my coffee fresh-ish. Speeds things up a lot too and looks better than what I had my grinds in before it.

This makes a messy job much neater each morning as I brew my coffee. Measures the right amount of coffee into the receptor on the pot. Takes a little practice to get it just right, but once there, it's a breeze. Bottom detachable plate a bit difficult to remove, but I assume this will take care of itself with use. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

there is a void between the dispensing mechanism and the bottom of the container. as a result, stale espresso grinds stuck there and may dispense with the fresh grounds. i do not recommend this product.

Je suis handicapé avec beaucoup de difficultés en motricité fine cela me simplifie énormément l'utilisation de ma cafetière Moka et comme ma mère en avait un j'ai essayé et depuis, il m'en fallait un aussi.

Ottimo prodotto solido e ben costruito.Bisogna fare un po’ di attenzione ad aprire il tappo perché bisogna fare un po’ di forza e quindi si corre nel rischio di rovesciare il caffè all’interno, consiglio di stringerlo tra il braccio e io corpo e con le unghia per che c’è l’ha, di sollevarlo piano piano e non nello stesso punto . Per quanto riguarda il tappo inferiore dato che ha lo stesso diciamo problema, anche se dal mio punto di vista non lo è consiglio di non chiuderlo del tutto perché tanto non scappa ed serve solo per non sporcare nel eventuale perdita di caffè.Ha diverse misure per qualsiasi tipo di caffettiera, bisogna solamente cercare la propria sede, la caffettiera più piccola è più accortezza ci vuole quindi chi scrive che sporca e perché semplicemente non ha capito come funziona stessa cosa chi critica la parte automatica, cioè nel fatto che torna indietro da solo il meccanismo. Lo fà, ma solo se non è pieno perché la forza della mola logicamente non può contrastare il peso del caffè al suo interno.Il risultato è quello della foto.

Muy práctico y funcional. La única pega es que me parece un producto un poco caro teniendo en cuenta que es un bote metalico y la poca varidad de diseños que hay. Po lo demás, lo uso todos los días y te ajusta perfectamente la cantidad de cafe necesaria sin el engorro de derrames.

Love it! I've used this in Italy for yeas to make my home espresso with moKa. no more mess of grounded coffee all over the countertop in the kitchen. Takes less time in the morning as well! I'm so pleased!

allerdings mit Einschränkungen.Ich habe eine Möglichkeit gesucht mir das abmessen von Kaffeepulver zu erleichtern.Ich habe es mit dieser Dose versucht und hatte in Teilen erfolg.Ich habe eine DeLonghi mit wechselbaren Sieben für den Siebträger.- für einen einfachen Shot Espresso kommt zuviel Kaffee aus der Öffnung. Dort habe ich versucht einen Punkt anzuzeichnen bis wohin ich drehe aber das funktioniert nicht gut.- für den doppelten Shot Espresso kommt allerdings die perfekte Menge Kaffeepulver aus der Dose. Der Kaffee ist perfekt verteilt und mit 14-15g im Durchschnitt perfekt dosiert.Auf meine Mokkamaschine passt sie auch super und der Kaffee hat eine optimale Stärke.Also was soll ich sagen, kein Fehlkauf. Mein Leben ist wieder ein Stück einfacher^^
