Loved the look.. it's the exact size I wanted.. but there is no bible reading yearly plan ... But rest it came in a good condition and loved it..

I bought a black one and a pink one of these bibles for a couple of friends, and am quite happy with them. I'm posting the same review but with different pictures for both items as they are identical except for the covers.It's a good size to carry around, the print is surprisingly large considering the size of the book (some reviews say the print isn't large, but how large would you expect the print to be in a 6 x 4 inch bible?!). It has some decent labeled maps at the back, an attached ribbon bookmark, and the cover looks really nice, although it is nothing like real leather. The paper has a lovely silver edge, giving the appearance of quality. The 'red' font for words spoken by Jesus is more brown than red, but is still easily distinguishable from the black font.The bible comes with a kind of plastic card cover that slips over the bible. This is what is shown in the the seller image. It isn't a box, just a sleeve, and the longer edges of the bible overhang each end.I like these so much I'm tempted to get myself one.

This Bible is small, not too heavy and the magnetic flap is effective so far. However, please note that although the print is described as large, this is relative to the overall size of the Bible. Large print for this compact Bible will be smaller than large print for a standard size Bible, (perhaps two thirds the size) but larger than the usual small print of a compact Bible. This may prove disappointing to some purchasers who are expecting the print to be bigger. Charts can be found online to print out and give a better idea of the actual size. Also, the main text is larger than the notes which are tiny, as is some of the text on the maps. The concise concordance is clearly printed but there is no 52 week reading plan as advertised. The words of Christ are in a clear red, the pages nicely gold edged and the binding an attractive burgundy bonded leather. Bearing the above comments on the print in mind I am very pleased with my purchase and will look forward to taking it with me when travelling.

Been looking for a slimfit and compact bible to travel around with. My prayers have definitely been answered. Traditionally been a fan of the New Living Translation (NLT), however my current bible has seen better days. This bible arrived ahead of the predicted time, and the cover is truly elegant and durable. Definitely glad I did not order a paperback version.The bible is smaller than it looks, however the font is large enough to read with ease. However if you are long sighted or struggle with crowded pages, I would recommend you look for a bigger version of this bible. Broadman and Holman do offer a huge range of bibles, so if you like to make notes in your bibles, or you love referencing common terms, then they have a bible for you

For less than £10 - the quality of this little Bible has totally amazed me. The cover feels great in the hand and the crown of thorns looks great. The pages are decent thickness without much bleeding. Stitched fabric spine, and a ribbon. Then there is the text which for a small bible is larger than most and with red text for Words of Christ. Plus the concordance and maps.... For the price I cannot be but happy as I really did expect less for the money.
