Perfect for small cables
I am using this with a Dymo Rhinopro 6000 unit. The environment is in a corporate IT setting and server rooms. The primary use of the the self-laminating is for cables. I have found that anything larger than an ethernet cable (Including shielded CAT6) is too large and the transparent tape does not overlap. So far they are still sticking, but for longevity I would like to have the tape wrapped completely around the cable. The labels really do stick very well. They are not good to cable labels, I would prefer the self-laminating tape instead. The backing is split down the middle but is rather hard to peel off. I also have learned to keep the cassettes either in the box or machine. Once the carbon paper comes out of the cassette it is impossible to feed back in. There are tiny plastic guides that can break as well, causing problems with the cassette.

Works for PLC panel wiring.
Package arrived on a REALLY hot day and since I hadn't waited for it to return to below "heat-stroke temperature", the toner completely adhered to the white label during the first print run. Unknowingly, I pressed the cut button and the toner was severed from the spool inside. So, I had to carefully disassemble the cartridge, recoil the toner on the spool, and painstakingly reassemble the two halves together. That was not easy, nor fun. But, after that, I haven't had ANY issues with it. I use it to mark the ends of 18ga MTW insulated wire in PLC panels. As of this post, I have not had a single label unwrapped itself. The lamination protects the print underneath from any abrasions that may be encountered inside of the panel (which isn't much in all honesty - but I can apply pressure with my fingernail and I'd still be confident in using it in harsher environments).

Dymo Only Offers 1" Tape
Dymo only offers the 1" 24mm labels. These labels are extra long when you put it on the patch cable. Would be great if Dymo offered a 3/4" self laminating tape. You can only print two lines of text on the label. I typically type three lines of text which will wrap around the cable a bit more.Would have given it a five if they offered the 3/4" self laminating version

Does not work with 5200
Should have read the reviews. Doesn't work with 5200. Nothing in manuals or official communication that indicates this. Very annoying.

Will not self-laminate around Cat5 or Cat6
Like another reviewer said, these labels will not self laminate around Cat5 or Cat6 cables or "usual" sized coax. They will probably see some use around 12-14 AWG electrical wire. If you're mainly doing network wiring, skip this and go for the regular 1" tape.

Just what I expected and needed...Did the job of labeling my boat wiring. I bought a used bass boat that had multiple wiring issues. Made marking and wiring the boat so it can be troubleshot and repaired in the future. Thanks, quick deliver and product quality.

My New Favorite Wire Labels
Kinda pricey, but definitely worth it! I had a job where I went through 3 rolls of this stuff. No complaints except for when I tried to attach it at 15°F, where it cracked. Note to self - Don't label wires when it's 15°F outside! Seriously, it's good stuff.
