Very well built liquid-filled pressure gauge
Very well built gauge. I appreciate the fact that it is liquid filled as I used it for checking water pressure at the end of my sprinkler circuits during an irrigation redesign. For this pressure range, the 0 to 60 range provides a 1 psi resolution (marks on the dial). For measuring incoming water pressure, I need to use a 0 to 100 psi gauge as the pressures in both tap water and reclaimed water can be higher than 60 psi in my neighborhood. I use a 3/8" female to 1/2" male adapter from the local hardware store to make the cross over to threaded PVC pipe. I can highly recommend this product for those who need to measure pressure up to 60 psi.Update: Photo does not show the new face plate. I have since ordered another 100 psi gauge. The build quality is still excellent, but the face plate has been changed to incorporate both psi and bar. That would be OK except the font size is smaller and much more difficult to read from a distance. The psi numbers are now on the outside of the tick marks with bar on the inside. Even the psi marks are harder to see. The green shamrock is gone too:(

These are good quality liquid filled gauges
These are good quality liquid filled gauges. The accuracy is a little questionable though. I have 2 of these on a water filtration and sterilization system. There is about 2-3psi difference in the gauge readings. The gauge with the higher reading is on the OUTLET just after he filter ans sterilization system. A little weird but for what I am using them for they will work well. The use in this instance is to determine when it's time to change the filters, of which there are 3. All in all, a good value for the price. Easy to read and if there are fluctuations in pressure the liquid fill will help to damp that so the gauge can be read.

After the last gauges I'm feeling the luck of the Irish with these!
Ok this isn't a stupid review,(like my other gauge review). I ordered two of these gauges for a gas driven wheel barrow compressor. The dry gauges finally had enough of the vibrations and stopped working. I've known for sometime the better gauges are liquid filled to help dampen vibrations and extend gauge life. These were economically priced and easy to read. They installed quickly and easily. They are glycerin filled and the needle moves smoothly without the constant jumping around which makes it easier to read when standing. Connected one to the outlet on the pressure regulator and the other to tank pressure side. Big and clear and readily identifiable numbers. Working great after two months without any issues. Has 1/4-inch NPT bottom connection. best of all no moisture problems or fogging of lens since they are liquid filled. Thanks Amazon and Zenport.

Good gauge
Purchased two of these to monitor the water pressure drop across a whole house filter. I'm on a well; rust, grit, and silt come through from time to time. It's vital to know when to change the filter. The only scientific way to know is to monitor the pressure drop. As the filter clogs the pressure delta increases. I now know that my 2 year old, rust colored, silt filled filter had a pressure drop of 8 psi. A new fresh filter only drops 3 psi.Not that I need the glycerin filled, my pipes don't shake or vibrate, but it looks cool. The glycerin does prevent the needle from bouncing around when I take a reading. On my application I take a reading with the garage cold faucet full open. That is, water running. No leaks. Easy install. Common thread size and pitch make it easy to find adapters to plumb this in-line for your application.

Don't Cut the Plug!
When I received this gauge, there was a much larger air bubble than it shows in this picture. I wasn't sure how that would affect it, but found that it wasn't a factor. However, there on the top of the gauge there is a rubber plug (I guess it's a plug). Right next to the plug is a sticker that reads, "Cut after installation" and it shows a pair of scissors cutting the tip off the plug. I was kind of perplexed on why a person was supposed to cut it but since it told me to, I did. Big mistake. I have now lost about 1/2 of the glycerin that was inside.I guess the sticker that was on there telling me to cut the tip of the plug must have been meant for the person who installed the plug? Don't know for sure, but when you receive yours - DON'T cut the plug!Other than that, it seems like a very nice gauge.

Spend a bit more for a better gauge
1st thing is the gauge is described as having an ABS case, I was pleased to see it is actually metal, and it seems to work much smoother than dry gauges. Now for the bad, the gauge has a plug at the top with instructions that you have to cut a nipple off the plug after installation so it can breath and give correct readings, this exposes a tiny hole that will let rain in if the gauge is exposed to the weather like mine is, I built a little tent over this with duct tape to keep debris and rain out and still let it breathe and I will need to keep a clear bag around it, second thing is it seems to stick a little as the pressure falls, after the pressure bleeds down I can tap the gauge and see the needle fall about 5 PSI.

Needle doesn't vibrate
Seems well-made, with a metal stem and housing. It replaces a gauge on a sprayer that uses a roller pump, which puts little 'surges' under pressure that made the needle in my old gauge vibrate until it fell off. The liquid in this one seems about a s thick as melted honey (but is clear and easy to see through) which dampens the vibrations so the needle stays steady. Numbers are clear and easy to read.

Great value
Excellent price. I have no standard to compare accuracy. Not confirmed if gauge error or compressor not performing correctly. Most likely compressor.

I'd recommend not cutting the nipple even though the instructions say ...
Liquid leaks out of this gauge leaving a small mess.I'd recommend not cutting the nipple even though the instructions say to.
