A close match to the original e39 control arm
I needed a quick replacement for my original control arm after discovering that its bushing was responsible for shuddering during hard right turns and braking. This had the key attributes of looking like the correct part and quick shipping.It arrived sealed in an unmarked plastic bag, with a stick-on label with the part number and country of origin. It was a close visual match to the factory part, including the arm casting being aluminum. All key dimensions matched the original: a 22mm nylon insert nut, the ball joint stud had a 6mm hex recess, and the pressed-in bushing was the same 46mm outer diameter and 52mm width, with a hole sized for the M12 bolt. (This size bushing is the same as used in the earlier e28 5 series and the X5. It isn't usually replaced separately with the I6 e39's aluminum control arm, but it's nice to see the same dimensions.)

Super impressed
I am super impressed with the quality of the Lower control arm. To me it’s better quality than the OEM control that I took out. Now what I don’t like is that the ball joint doesn’t come with a grease fitting, but….. unlike the stock oem that I had in my truck, at least you can press this one out and, this company who sold the control arm to me thru Amazon even threw in 2 extra lower ball joints in the box. So there was already 1 installed on the control arm and 2 extra. Now that is customer service right there. I was hesitant at first if I should immediately press out the ball joint that it came with and install a moog ball joint because I just installed one on other side but it seems ok
