Delmhorst F-2000 Hay Moisture Meter

This device works great. I was looking for a unit that would do both bales and field testing. I use the bucket method but have also tested wind rows. Very versatile, seems accurate, like others the stick is a little short for testing round bales but you can get the idea and certainly enough information to make an informed decision. Compact and the carry case is nice, fits under the seat of the truck and is always around when I need it. Several of the neighbors will bring a bucket by to get their grass tested.

I use it mostly to check the moisture in windrows, it has been very helpful in deciding whether or not to wrap the bales.
