Alvoxcon USB microphone A-800

Without something like audacity this thing is too sensitive. It picks up a mosquito fart from the other side of my house. And I'll have you know, their farts sound surprisingly a lot like auto-tune music. This is both a con and pro. The sound quality is stunning, coming from cheap gaming headset mics I was not expecting it to sound so accurate to real life and pickup from so far away. I have to be careful when talking cause it can even pickup my teeth chattering while talking or each subtle breath. It pickups my pc fans, it picks up my fridge hum even though it's 15ft away, it picks up the dogs barking at my neighbors, it picks up birds chirping... I am shocked to see some reviews here talk about this not being sensitive enough, I had the opposite problem, which made it difficult to get clean recordings with fan noises and such. So you will want to use something like audacity with this, and then it's an easy 5 stars. Maybe the more expensive models are better, but this is already more then what I needed. Cheap, sturdy, crisp, and I even like that you can plug into it to hear how it sounds recording live. I mounted it to a mic boom and goodbye cheap headset mics! Never going back to that now, and glad I bought this. Good product.

All I can really say is just, WOW! I mean the sound this mic produces is fantastic! The build quality is sturdy, it comes with a nice foam wind cap/screen (whatever you wanna call it) and is very professional looking. I'm a small time Twitch Streamer and this mic so far has proven to perhaps on of the best mics I've ever purchased. It's USB plug and use, you don't need to install any drivers or anything like that on your computer. OBS picks it up with ease although it does come up as a different mic name and not something like A-800 mic. Not sure why that is, but still it registers and sounds amazing. The only real complaint I have is that there is no mute button but just by simply turning down the mic itself, that's perfectly fine with me. Other than that, this mic gets 5 stars from me, I'd give it 10/10 but sadly you can't do that on amazon, haha. If you're a small streamer or podcaster I HIGHLY recommend picking this little mic up. And for the price, it's definitely a bang for your buck! Again, 5 stars from me and an absolute gem among the other USB microphones out there.

I purchased this desktop mic as a replacement for my built-in headset mic (a wireless Corsair model). Unfortunately, despite being a dedicated mic, the sound quality just doesn't stack up and I've reverted to using just my headset. This may work for recording sound, with post processing done in Audacity or similar audio tools, but as raw audio input, I'd personally splurge on a better mic or a gaming headset.

I’m using the mic in conjunction with CCA cable-switchable monitor headphones. In conjunction, they work AMAZING. I get some quiet sound from the power supply but it’s not disruptive. The mic actually picks up ambient noise, street sounds and conversations from outside my house which I can hear more clearly than I can without the headphones. It’s pretty crazy for a setup that in total cost less than $100. This combination is incredible for sound sensitivity to price ratio. So happy about this purchase!

The noise level is a little too high. It's OK quality for this price.

I use this microphone with Audacity SW on MS Win, and the sound quality is superb! It's a fantastic microphone for technical/research data dictation and online meeting. The microphone is constructed with metal components and very well built. It's definitely comparable to the more expensive $100+ microphone. The only negative is the microphone stand. It is a bit flimsy. The weight of the microphone (on certain configuration angle) can cause the unit to tip over. Overall, this is a great microphone, and I highly recommend the product.

Mostly just bought it on the whim to replace a headset mic that I wasn't so happy with. I was initially amazed at how sensitive it was to pick up sounds! You can adjust the volume of the mic as well and I've grown to appreciate that instead of having my friends adjust my volume on discord. Of course because it's so sensitive, you can definitely hear yourself type on the keyboard and click on the mouse. Another downside is that the usb cord is plugged in from the bottom, so there's a chance the wire bends when you have it on your desk, but easily solvable by having the mic tilted towards you than sitting straight up. I'm not too savvy on other brands of microphones, but I'm definitely pleased with this one.

Je voulais avoir un micro qui soit capable d'enregistrer le son des bols tibétains sans distorsion afin d'envoyer certains enregistrements à des amis. Je n'ai fait pour le moment que quelques essaies mais jusqu'à présent le son est excellent. Il n'y a pas une sonorité de banshee qui percent le tympan avec les aiguës des cymbales et de certains bols. Je suis très satisfaite pour le moment car je ne pense pas trouver cette qualité à ce prix là. Par contre il n'y a pas de documentation autre que la description des différents morceaux dans la boite. Il faut également un logiciel à part pour l'utiliser. Moi j'ai téléchargé WaveShop qui est compatible et gratuit.

This microphone does work for ps4 and sound quality is amazing. I would really recommend this mic. Thank you Amazon for delivering it a day early.

Good pricing. Clear voice when using the mic, however, I cannot hear my own voice while plug in the headphone to the mic. I refunded it.

This is probably the best USB mic I've ever had. I really like it. It has headphone jack output, and volume control. It has great sound quality. Also, the customer service is excellent!!! Thank you!!!
