I've tried all kinds of products and techniques to stop water from getting into the landscape lighting lines, but they would eventually get wet, the lights would flicker and fizzle out. Had these in for over a year, I live in Cali where it only rains in winter. We had A LOT of rain last winter and the lights are still up and running. They've been exposed to irrigation, dirt, (some are buried, some laying on top of the dirt under mulch), mulching, digging, tugging and of course rain and they are still working just fine. I love them and highly recommend to anyone.

Once I figured out how they were meant to be used, install was very easy & fast. Maybe a little Ikea-style diagram in the packet would help those of us new to this connector? These make robust permanent connections I can have confidence in! Very pleased!

showed up missing all the gel filled caps and over half of the splices. thanks for nothing. now project is held up.

No real complaints. Pretty easy to use. A little tough to close the cap once wires and cover pushed into silicone gel but worked eveytime. The easy-snap versions on the market will be slightly easier to use because you don't need to twist wires onto each other and then cap, just clip them in, but you will pay a bit more for that convenience.

I changed the flimsy grease caps on the install with this to prevent water induced shorts. The gel will become water impermeable in s few weeks time

Easy to use, and works great. Much better protection than waterproof wire nuts alone. Be sure to use disposable gloves to keep the silicone off your hands. You must push the wire nut deep into the hole so the silicone covers it.
