It is just what I needed
It’s great for what I wanted.

Back is flimsy
Beautiful frame but the back is kind of flimsy. Doesn’t close tightly, you’ll want to add a piece of thick paper behind your photo so it doesn’t move.

Plastic not Glass
There are better frames for the $$$. The description is accurate so I can't ding them for using plastic instead of glass, but I would not have purchased if I'd noticed that. Very low end frame.

Well made frame
Was not being able to find Halloween frames this was perfect for our needs. Happy to see that it comes in other colors as well and very well made

Nice!
Love the color. The ‘clamps’ in the back were easy to secure what was being displayed.

The protective film works on the plastic cover because it is impossible to remove.
Protective film is almost impossible to remove off the plastic cover to photo. Still have not been able to remove one side. Great gift if you are trying to teach patience.

Out of the ordinary frame. Nice yellows, solidly constructed, somewhat folksy arts & crafts look
This frame was one I chose out of countless after shopping on Amazon and elsewhere for a frame that would pair nicely with a collectible Fillmore poster-handbill that features predominately yellow on black. My wants and needs in this were peculiar, and ultimately, uniquely befitting this frame. It was impossible to find an exact size match but this was pretty close, and I put the piece on a black backing to fill the gap as I didn't feel like getting into matting (though I may still do that). It looks fantastic and I'm very pleased with the finished result. The only reason I nicked one star- is that the backing for the bone-tile is visible from the side, and appears to be made of bare, brown particle board. I almost didn't buy it because of this but decided the pros would (hopefully) outweigh the cons, and in fact that proved to be the case for me. I was uncertain the bone tiles dye colors would work with my piece either but the match is pretty right on . The dye-yellow coloring is variegated; absorbed unevenly as to be expected with a natural material. (Side note: I hope the bone material doesn't have an egregiously dark side on the sourcing!)Once I hung it, I don't notice the brown exposed wood edge-- however, the hallway wall where I displayed it is dimly lit so it may or may not be as noticeable depending upon your placement. I considered painting the exposed wood but it turns out to be a non-issue for me in this setting. All said, I'm very happy with this frame.

Very Nice
Looks so pretty with my childhood friend's original artwork in it!* I came back and edited my review. At first, I wasn't impressed with this and I gave it 1 star and called it "junk." It had arrived warped. But it straightened out after sitting for a week with a heavy book on top of it. It's actually a very good quality, very beautiful frame. I think it just throws some ppl (like me) off a little, because it's handmade. It has all the imperfections and quirks that you'd expect in artisan quality products, as opposed to the supposed "perfection" you'd see in mass-produced, assembly line products. It really looks beautiful around the artwork done by my childhood friend, Colleen Conlon. I'm proud to own her art, and even prouder to display it in such a special frame. My next step will be to hang it in my all-turquoise "woman cave"! For that, I'll use my Dremel to add some eye hooks and picture wire. The turquoise bone inlay is really pretty. The plexiglass is really thick, and looks like real glass to me. It came very well-packaged, with a thick piece of styrofoam perfectly fitted to the glass. I do recommend this frame, if you want something out of the ordinary. Don't judge it immediately like I did, or you might miss its subtle beauty. So glad that I didn't send it back. I only gave it a second look after seeing another reviewer's yellow one with a special art piece inside. That looked fabulous, and made me wonder if I'd judged it unfairly. I definitely did!

Awful.
This is one of the worst items I have purchased from Amazon. For $24 I expect a well made frame. The acrylic “glass” is covered in an extremely impossible to remove, logo-covered film. The frame itself is not sturdy at all. I am returning this ASAP.

Not as described
Was not plexiglass as it was described. This is glass, and delivered broken! Cracked along one side, I could have cut myself if I wasn't careful. Its also very filthy, glass was stained beyond cleaning. The frame itself was also warped, and covered in wood powder, what a mess. Not impressed at all. Return.

Beautiful, solid frame except for plexiglass
I bought this in two colours (turquoise and grey). The frame itself is very attractive, a rich color and solidly made. However, as others have noted, the plexiglass is very poor quality; both had scratches/ defects. Depending on where you hang the frames, these defects may show and you will want to replace the plexiglass.

Such a pretty addition!
I bought this to match my bedroom, and it’s beautiful. People keep complaining about the protective film on the plastic. You have to peel it from BOTH sides. I admit, I was looking for a glass frame, but it was so pretty, I overlooked that it’s plastic.

Good enough
Good enough and just what I needed, although overall I don’t think it’s really worth $20.
