I use a lot of incandescent icicle lights in my Christmas decorating. I use them because they can be put on a dimmer for a more subtle look - LED's are too bright! But, of course, the bulbs do burn out after a while. I kept buying replacement bulbs and when I plugged them in the string lighted but the new bulb did not light. I kept thinking I had bad bulbs until I found out that there are two types of mini incandescent bulbs; Super Bright and energy conserving. ALMOST ALL replacement bulbs sold on Amazon are the Super Bright type and they don't work in many of the older light strings - like mine. The bulbs being sold here are the right type for many of the older light strings and they work PERFECTLY!!! I just ordered another 200 so I have plenty for the future.

I have a beautiful artificial Christmas tree from Balsam Hill that is over 14 years old. Several years ago, Balsam Hill stopped selling replacement bulbs for my tree. They wanted me to just disconnect all of the strands of lights from the tree and purchase new lights to decorate the tree with by myself! Ridiculous!!! Then I found this supplier of replacement bulbs! I don't know what I would do without them! The bulb specifications for the lights on this tree are very narrow--thus replacement bulbs are exceedingly hard to find. This seller has both clear and colored replacement bulbs that work perfectly on my tree! They are so helpful and knowledgeable. Don't buy a new artificial tree if the only problem with yours is that a number of the lights are burned out! Just order from these guys! They are so great! Fast shipping, careful packaging, no bulbs that do not work. A really great company!!

5 stars for these replacement bulbs. I have 2 sets that use these bulbs and didn't want them to end up in a land field. I was very nervous about whether they would work, but they do! I ordered two 50 packs and used almost all of them. Only 1 of them didn't work!

After 2 or 3 other brands we finally found the correct replacement bulbs that worked on our pre-lit. The others either didn't light at all or lit so dimly you could hardly see them. These are about the same brightness as the originals.

Could not find replacement bulbs for my old Philips Augusta Pine Woodland Cut 9ft. Artificial Christmas Tree. Contacted Philips Customer Service. Was told no longer manufactured. Think my tree is about 14 years old. Ordered these mini bulbs from Amazon. They are exactly the same and work perfectly. They do not include the bases. However, it is very easy to remove the old bulbs from bases and install these mini bulbs. I am thrilled that I will be able to use my tree for a few more years. Even ordered another hundred bulbs so I won’t run out.

Make sure you know the correct voltage and wattage needed for your bulbs! Don't judge by the shape! Check the labels on your old chords/plugs before ordering.

I have a prelit tree that I was using standard 2.5 volt lights for and they were dim. After reading that I needed the ESHD bulbs I ordered them hoping to fix my tree. Unfortunately that is not the case, every time I replace a bulb on a strand with only 1 light out it immediately flashes and is dead. At this point I doubt it is even worth the trouble of going for an entire strand that is out and having 50 blow at once after the work of swapping them. I’m going to request a refund.

Other bulbs looked weak and dim because I wasn't aware that 300+ light chains needed the energy efficient bulbs. These look bright and make me happy I don't have to scrap my light chain.
