Good semiautomatic gun, good rate of fire
I purchased this gun to add to my arsenal of Rival guns, it was my first semi automatic gun. My other Rivals are full auto, so the introduction of a semi was fun. Pro's Accurate Powerfull Con's limited ammo double feeds and jams Little bulky for small kids So overall the gun does its job, nice compact sub gun to add to your collection with good accuracy. The only real down side is the small ammo capacity it has, but nice you can change out mags. So even though I listed it as a negative it could be spun into a postive. The more ammo mags you have, you could last pretty long in a battle. On a side note, you should purchase the Rival Battery pack, it reduces the weight to the gun and is a must in my opinion. I am very happy with the purchase and would consider getting a second one.

Semi auto fun
This blaster is very fun to use and is one of my favorites because of its slim lightweight body, the safety is really easy to swotch on and off the battery it comes with last long and reliable. After a couple years off use it shows how durable this thing is there is not a single scratch on this blaster, also the mag release is ambidextrous and is easy to use overall this is a amazing nerf blaster to get somebody if they want a nice and easy to use blaster.

Good blaster, but really heavy
It's a really fun blaster. The only reason I give this 4 stars is that it weighs a lot, because it requires 4 C batteries. Which means the grip tends to dig into your hand a lot. And because all of the weight is behind the grip, it's fairly uncomfortable to wield. Also, the grip is massive. Not a bad thing, but I wouldn't reccomend it unless you have large hands. If you pick one of these up, do yourself a favor and pick up a Rival Rechargeable Pack. It's lighter, and gives it better performance.

Top hvz blaster
Just got this Blaster for an up and coming Humans Vs Zombies Invitational event after my old stryfes started to become a bit too aged. This blaster is fantastic. You can take shots before it is even fully revved. It takes shots further than any of the nerf darts of the past, they stay more accurate at distance than the darts used to. The ammo travels at a much faster speed and definitely has more of an impact so the zombies know they were definitely hit, but it doesnt hurt thankfully. Unlike the darts, once these are shot out of the blaster, there is a good chance that you will say goodbye to that round. They bounce and roll away so much. The blaster was about 2-3x the weight of my old stryfe (i used the battery pack in this blaster) but i didnt find it too cumbersome and it felt great in my hands when handling it. This is definitely going to be my new main.

Easily my third favorite rival weapon.
So after moving out of my parent's house several years ago, my nerf collection has mostly gone into storage. I keep Rival series guns for housebug deterrence. The Kronos has been the most reliable, with the Saturn being the most accurate I've ever had. The Hera is a gamechanger. If you, like me, have arachnophobia, then you don't want to get *close* to your house spiders to deal with them. Again, the aforementioned Rival guns have been reliable for this. However, on the rare occasions where you get a wasp, bee, or an incredibly fast spider in your house, maybe pump-action isn't good enough anymore; you need to fling rounds at them very rapidly or they disappear and give you anxiety for the entire day. The Hera is the very comfortable middle ground. You might miss a shot or two now and then, but the included magazine comes with 12 rounds and can empty them in about 4 seconds if you're fast. I have one-shotted a roach with this beast, even if i had to wash the round afterwards. Gross. Anyway, i took to eeeeebayyyyy to grab three 7 round tubes and two more 12 rounders at the same time, and the 7 round magazines actually feel way better. They only stick downward far enough to grab them to pull them out, and are easier to carry around. This blaster is highly recommended. It is very comfortable to carry, wield, fire, and reload, in both hands. I am a tall dude with large hands, and I have no issues holding this beast one-handed, so I don't mind the weight of the C-cells it requires, but you might. It makes it slightly back-heavy, but the way the blaster is designed, it makes using the stock comfy as well. I'm still debating picking up rechargeable C-cells, or the Nerf rechargeable pack.

This is the one....
We have the Nemesis and Perses, and while the Nemesis is amazing (still), the Perses is a little finicky when it comes to the feeding mechanism. We don't experience jams with the Perses, we just end up having to shake the gun a bit in order for it to continue feeding. That said, those are both autos, while this Hera is a semi auto. The latter of which allows better accuracy, and sustained play time IMO. The ultimate is being able to carry the Hera in your hand with the Nemesis strapped to your back. When providing cover or advancing rapidly, swing the Nemesis around and unload the fury. Then step back and use the Hera for articulate firing.

Very fun, remember rechargeable battery pack
This is a fun blaster at a very good price. Trigger is basically a ball lifter that shoves a ball into the flywheels but I have felt worse triggers on other blasters. Big thing is the noise, it's a lot more quiet than people say. It's actually more quiet than my Helios. If I'm up late night the spring on the Helios can be heard clearly going "PANG" through the walls. The flywheel gets drowned out by the fans everyone sleeps with and is not loud enough to be heard with my door closed. In fact when standing in the hallway with my door closed all I could hear was a barely audible "thud" whenever an HIR ball would hit one of my pillows I line up on my bed as targets. Make sure to get the official Nerf NiMH rechargeable battery pack, it spins up the flywheels faster than D or C battery trays and lasts much longer. Not to mention only being $15 and being rechargable instead of dumping lots of money on alkalines. Also make sure you buy at least four extra magazines. I priced the local walmart at $7 for the official 12rd magazines that come with 18 rounds of spare Nerf name brand ammo, that is a steal when off-brand magazines go for ~$6 each by themselves on Amazon. Soon the Rival Edge series will come with a 30rd drum magazine that will work in this blaster and that will be a game changer, 12 rounds seem to disappear way too fast because of how fun it is to shoot the Hera.
