Unfortunately, I have experience with this type of brace from a dislocated elbow, so it was easy to fit and put on. It works as intended, but you definitely have to pay attention to where you line up the hinge! The only reason I took 1 star off is because the foam bunches up a lot, especially if you're short or small. You can remove the foam fully, but it will be less comfortable especially if you've bought this after a surgery. I recommend getting it fit, then trimming as needed.

My mother broke her knee cap and had to be placed in a cast. Once it was time for the cast to come off, the surgeon requested she be put in one of these. In office this brace was $750. The kind assistant at this office recommended I check Amazon for the same brace of a similar brand. This did the job and was excellent! It took a while to figure out how to get on without help, but my father figured it out. Very sturdy and kept her leg straight as per surgeons orders. Highly recommend and saved us tons of money!
