Serendipity Bible for groups: New International Version

This is a good bible to use for personal or group bible study. The questions are good. Our womens group uses it to study the gospel reading of the day and we have had some good discussions that tie in with the readings and the sermon. Very helpful.

I lost my first Serendipity Bible and was happy to get it again. This is a great resource to gap small group lesson series. We are using it between two large series; one that ended in October and a new one starting in the New Year. The updated content, or rather context, is nice. I appreciate the focus on personalizing and applying principles in a given passage. I think every Small Group Leader would appreciate having this resource.

The Serendipity Bible makes a great Bible study tool (New International Version) because it offers a variety of study questions as well as application questions for each chapter of scripture. I am using both the 10th Anniversary Edition and the 4th Edition together in class and have had no problems working with the two different editions. It also uses maps and additional scripture references on occasion for more in-depth study. I did not give this Bible a "5 STAR" rating because it does not always capitalize personal pronouns of God. This advantage helps individuals to understand exactly when a passage is referring to God or to man.

An amazing bible and fantastic resource for anyone wanting to make their way through the bible. It was In really good condition and arrived after only a couple of days. If your vision is bad make sure you have your glasses on you, as the text can be a little on the small side, but still worth the read!

We're using it in our discussion group before church. The questions help get us talking.

I don't care for the NIV translation, I bought the bible for the helps it gives for working in the small groups..I'm a new Sunday school teacher and the tips for starting conversations and the footnotes are helpful.

Bible Study Circle group decided to use this because it provides direction for so many differently focused studies. I bought this used, and the price was perfect. It's big and heavy, but it's a good choice. It's a very good way to read the Bible.
