Chesapeake Bay Candle PT40715 Scented Candle, Beach Bonfire (Cedarwood Oak Moss), Large Jar , White

I ordered the 19.5 oz. Milk & Honey and there are a number of things that I love about this candle. I love the look of the jar as it has a very elegant design to it. I like that it is a glass jar with a milky look to it which makes it very easy to put with any décor. The lid is wood and the way the top of the lid is designed I can use it as a coaster and I put the whole candle on the lid and by doing this gives the candle another look that works. I love how versatile the candle can be whether you have the lid on the top of the candle when you are not using it, to putting the lid on the bottom to set the candle on while it is burning. I was nervous about the Milk & Honey as my home is normally scented with cinnamon type scents which my husband favors more. When I lit the candle and had it burning for a few minutes I fell instantly in love with the way it smelled and the way it made the house feel warm and welcoming. This is not our first Chesapeake Bay Candle, the last candle we had which was my first one from this company was the White Gardenia in the tin. We really like the way both candles smell and I was surprised that the guy who normally likes the Cinnamon type candle actually liked these. My husband knows how much I love candles and when I say love candles I mean love Yankee Candles but after trying these two candles I may have found my new favorite candle company.

I am fortunate to be a vine reviewer, and some time ago I was invited to review this item as part of that program.While I like candles all right, my wife loves them but is at the same time particular about the size, shape, burn quality, and scent of candles she burns.The short story is that she fell in love with this Chesapeake Bay Blood Orange candle. She loves the size, shape, frosted glass, and the way the candle burns, she says "It burns forever!" And we both enjoy the scent.Soooooooo, when I was contemplating stocking stuffers for "Mrs. Claus" this year, this candle came to mind. It was a hit!And like the tagline says, I give this item the highest possible praise - an item that I bought again and will probably buy yet again in the future.A solid five star item.

I pretty much exclusively purchase fall scented candles for my home, year round and this one did not disappoint. I bought the 3-wick “coffee table” size in the scent Cinnamon Spice. It’s the perfect size for my coffee table tray and I love the look of the jar, I’m hoping I can find a use for it after I clean it out. I can smell the candle throughout my whole living room and kitchen but I will say that it is a pretty small space. The only downside is that I feel like I burned through it pretty quick although it could be because I left it lit for too long. I will definitely be purchasing it again!

I purchased the coffee table size candle with three wicks in the Blood Orange scent. So when I review a product I give context. We have a pretty open floor plan where the kitchen opens into the dinning room (where I place candles) & into the living room with large arched doorways. Because of this the scent isn't contained into one room. The scent is mild & a nice background scent, not overpowering. Though the description lists several citrus/fruit oils as the primary scents it definitely has a floral scent (passion flower only floral listed). Love the idea of cleaning out the wax & repurposing the container it is quite cute. The quality of the wax seems to be good, even melting. Issues with the description: wood lid (composite board, really thick/dense cardboard), "candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours at a time" per amazon description (bottom of jar says 2 hours). General rule candles should burn one hour for every 1" in diameter of the candle. When burning candles if you don't let them burn till the wax is melted to the edges it creates a pool or indentation, this then limits the life of the candle as it won't ever melt further out then that point. This candle is close to 5" across, exceeding the 2 hour (per label) & 4 hour (per amazon description).

The candle comes in a nice frosted container with a composite lid. The smell is natural and at first, maybe a little strong for my small office. Sure to be a holiday favorite but I like it year round. I keep the lid on when not in use but I think the smell is diminishing a bit. But it is a nice smell, the candle burns cleanly and I think it will last a long time. I really enjoy burning it in the morning with an open window. It's a nice way to wake up and invigorate. I'll be looking for more of their candles.

Love this product and this is why. I love that how this candle went out on its own. Even though it’s not recommended to leave a candle on I stepped out and forget I left it lit. I came back and I saw it was to the very bottom and nothing happened, thank god. I once had a cheap 3 wick candle like this the candle burned through the glass and left a huge circle of burned wood in my coffee table. However this candle is very well scented it lasts long and the wooden top just makes it look so good in my living room.

I was looking for a good quality candle for my own home and found this coffee table version from Chesapeake Bay. I ordered the gardenia scent and I am pleased. It smells as one would expect but is not overpowering, there is just a soft scent in the air after the candle had been burning for a while and the scent remains steady as it burns. The white color goes with any decor and I like the rustic look the lid adds. The three wicks are ideal as the candle burns very evenly and clean. I love this candle for my home as it gives off that warm, welcoming vibe and I would purchase more for myself or for gifts. This is also a fairly large candle so I know it will last a while.
