Powerade Zero Liquid Beverage Drops 3oz, Mountain Berry Blast (Pack of 6)

Reviewing the drops: they're great and I haven't had any issues with the crystallization that others have reported (knock on wood). I do tend to open one and use it for a week or two until empty so I don't store it long term once its opened. Depending on how much you add, it can taste like a slightly-flavored water or the Powerade Zero you buy in a jug.Reviewing the price: When I bought this, the price was getting to the "unacceptable" level but still worth it. Since then, it keeps going up. Folks, the plain math here says that this makes 24 eight-ounce servings per bottle. Thus, a three-pack would create 72 eight-ounce servings. That's 576 ounces. Contrast to an 8-pack of 24 oz bottles I can get at the store for $3.99. Three of those 8 packs is also 576 ounces and costs just under $12. Result: if you're paying MORE than $12 for 3 of these Powerade Zero drops, you're being ripped off. Yes, there is the convenience factor (takes up a lot less space than 24 bottles) but that's also a benefit to the manufacturer (lower delivery and storage costs in their warehouse plus, YOU supply the water and your own bottle which has some greater-than-zero value to them).

I usually purchase the 32 oz bottles of Powerade but I like the Powerade drops especially when traveling and having the convenience to add the flavor to half liter water bottles. I've gotten pretty good at getting the "dosing" correct to get the right flavor intensity based on the color of the drink. Two to three full squirts usually works for me.Once you start using a drops container make sure to shake the bottle regularly and use the whole bottle within a relatively short period of time, maybe 2 to 3 weeks. As noted in some of the other reviews, I have had crystals form in a couple of the bottles.Depending on how strong you like to mix this, the current price for the product on Amazon and what the 32 oz bottles normally cost me I've found this product to be comparable in price to purchasing the ready made 32 oz product.

I drink about 8 glasses of water a day at work and need flavoring in them to keep me going for them. This lasts about a week of use. I do not use the recommended amount as I cannot figure out exactly what "one squirt" is or how hard to squeeze. I flavor to taste. Normally its just enough to change the flavor from water to weak powerade. You can add enough to really get some flavor going. If there was a way to accurately measure the amount that is recommended this product would be perfect, but it definitely masks the boring flavor of water. And best of all it taste like powerade.

This is a great product, because you control how strong you want to make your drink. When you buy the premix bottles 1st they are bulky and heavy. 2nd they are much stronger and sweeter than you may like. I usually take a quarter of the bottle out into a cup and add water to dilute it to my taste. With the PZD I only put in as much as I like to make it palatable to me.

Why why why are these discontinued? Was Powerade losing money because people could stretch these out & not buy the expensive bottles over & over? Probably. Is that fair? No. Was it easy to give all the kids a cold bottle of water & squirt some drops to rehydrate them after sports? Yes. Thanks Powerade...now I'm mad

Hard to review this one from a personal standpoint as I only got a couple of squirts of it. However between grandkids and young adults, it disappeared quickly so it must of been good. Comparing the one bottle of water I mixed with it to the pre-mixed, store bought bottles of powerade, I couldn't tell much difference except for knowing that this route was much cheaper with several kids around.

I bought this a while back and it lasts well. The reason I got it was I was tired of buying cases at costo which take up storage space. I use about 2 squirts per 12 once glass. Sometimes a little more or less. I have great drinking water so I mix it with tap water. I have never had problems with precipitation of this flavor. Definitely less plastic in the recycling bin.

Awesome and no calories to worry about. Great taste and easy to use without refrigeration, what more could you ask for! My husband puts some in his water bottle, refrigerates it to make it cold and takes it for his lunch every day. This is so popular we can't find it on the shelves.
