Dexshell socks proved to be an exceptional choice during a grueling 100-mile trail race marked by relentless rain and muddy conditions. My experience wearing these socks for 36 hours was nothing short of remarkable. For the entirety of the race, the weather was unyielding—constant rain transformed the trails into a mix of water and mud several inches deep. I bought these to use in conjunction with (gasp) crocs /waterproof shoes for days i don't feel like wearing tall boots in cooler weather and at work (where I have to have covered feet). They keep my feet dry as long as water runs off of them and they don't sit in water for too long (more than a few minutes) AND I haven't worn them for too long (more than a couple hours), after which my feet get sweaty and the socks absorb the sweat. That said, even if they do sit in water for a bit and my feet get sweaty they don't feel as swampy as regular socks do. They are thick from all the layers so only really usable in mild to cold weather. Comfortable and snug for women's size 8. I've put them through several cold wash/dry cycles now and haven't noticed any deterioration, but I still try to at least hang dry them mostly.

Soft and waterproof! I am a EU 38 and got the M which is for 39-41. It feels slightly small. I was hoping to be able to fit a pair or wool socks under the waterproof but it will not be possible.

Wore them kayaking in November... had to get in the water to get in and out of the kayak and they kept my feet dry.
