I have skin issues and learned about people using Hibiclens online. They swore by it and said that this helped their HS. So I decided to try it. These two bottles were a great deal and have lasted me sooooo long! When our long haired golden doodle goes in the swimming pool she doesn’t get completely dry and then she smells very sour. Even after a bath with shampoo and conditioner it doesn’t go away. When I googled it I was told to use this. We mis it in equal parts with her no itch shampoo and she smells fine. It kills the bacteria that seems to multiply on her skin. Works great for this. And as a retired RN I know it’s used all the time in the hospital and Dr’s offices.

As expected, great product. But the bottle does not have an inner safety seal. It can be opened by anyone. In addition, it arrives in a plastic bag. The manufacturer's outer original box is missing. Without the safety seal and the manufacturer's original packaging, I always wonder what is in the bottle ...

This product seems to work very well- used it on an slightly infected leg wound, followed by polysporin. Clearing up nicely

I discovered Hibiclens during Covid. Like everyone else I was having trouble finding any kind of hand sanitizer. I managed to find a gallon jug of Hibiclens here on Amazon. I purchased a jug out of desperation as my partner is immune compromised and I have an elderly mother (85 at the time). I have been showering with it ever since. ***Disclaimer It does say not to use it for a prolonged time on larger bodily areas. I continued to use it as I discovered it was shrinking skin tags I have on my neck (and a few other areas). So it has been awhile and the skin tags continue to shrink (albeit very slowly) but the bonus is I have had no new ones form. I also work in a residential setting around individuals of all ages and walks of life. Recently a bad stomach bug and several flu strains went around at the same time. Residents and staff were all sick multiple times within just a month from the various strains. I did not lose a single day of work, never got sick and never transferred any germs to family at home. I can’t prove it has to do with the Hibiclens but I am pretty sure it does have everything to do with why I did not get sick. Previously working in a child care setting I was constantly getting sick from all the bugs that went around so I know I am not immune. I don’t use it on my entire body, just my hands, neck, chest and arms. I purchase the gallon size and transfer into the smaller bottles (like this one) for portability.
