this is a must have! We got this so that we can use some of the portable tools we ordered off of Amazon and it works very well. The tools we got were off brands that looked like they could run on Dewalt batteries but we didn't have any on hand and buying batteries are so expensive so this was a cheaper but better alternative (IMO). We were able to use our M18 Milwaukee battery with this adapter and the best part, there is no lag - it works as though it came with the tools.

I got this but somehow I misunderstood that it wont charge the battery so defeated my purpose. But that was my mistake. The product works as intended and listed in description. But wont charge the Milwaukee battery (as it correctly says on listing)

Be careful... I've had this battery adapter for maybe 2 months, but only used it 5 or 6 times. The last time it my dewalt blower started smoking then quit entirely. This adapter was melted to the blower and I couldn't get it disconnected. I finally got it apart but cracked it during the process. Now the adapter is fried, but luckily the dewalt blower still works. Junk item or I just got a lemon. Out of return window so I wasted my money.
