I think with so many reviews on books and info, I will insert a comment for those really looking for a version that can help them as it has helped me. This is based on my journey and experience. It's a great translated attempt to read, it is well structured. You can tell it's translated by someone that not only understands Islam and the Quran, but by someone that also has a very strong grasp of the English language, mindful to make sense for the everyday person who might read this. It is not just Quran translation, it also has information facts to address common questions and provides information to correct some of the misconceptions presented through media. Discover the power and beauty of our creator and Islam, this translated version will help you connect. Be honest with your self when reading this, do not use it to judge, do not read it with hate or anger, just read it with an open heart if you are looking to learn so you may come to your own conclusion. Do not assume, questions enrich our lives, so seek clarification from Islamic scholars when curious or unsure on something. This is about our salvation and you need to qualify any question by asking Islamic scholars, whom you can find at any Islamic centre and mosque. A great guide to understanding Islam and the Quran. I have read many translations and they scare me as they are so far from what the message and context/intent is, where authors add personal assumptions and interpretation without understanding the language or context, this happens when written by those that don't understand Islam or even the Arabic language. While translating gives context, it's never the same because it's based on how our unique experience in terms of language and world experience/perceptions are defined. So treat it as a guide and not the final word. But a great start towards healing a division of misunderstanding, learning about your neighbours and friends. Let your heart judge and scholars help you learn to ensure whatever path you select is based on your truth. I think this version is great for that. May you find peace and comfort in your relationship with the creator. But you can only discover your truth with an open heart and this is perfect for those readers interested and curious about Islam, and for Muslims alike as well, as I rediscover Islam and my faith through logic and evidence that can't be explained a few decades ago, let alone 1,400 years ago. Things are we are only discovering now, its not just blind faith. some context. Islam wasn't born 1,400 years ago. It was first revealed to human kind with Adam and Eve, and continued to be shared over the ages throughout history for many tribes the world over, like those who we know off such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and many before them, the Quran is the final revelation and a final guide for us. This version is an easy to understand and read. If you believe there is a creator, or something, explore and let your heart guide you. Discover for your own salvation and make your own mind up. Don't let people's fear becomes your fears and constraints. Your alone in what comes next... or are you? or are your reading this just to understand Islamic culture and people around you?
