When my husband passed away several years ago, I found this book at Walmart. It helped me maintain my sanity. It is well written and helped me stay connected to God. The scriptures and vows are right on target no matter the situation.I have given this book to many people over the years because it helped me so much when I was grieving. I bought it once again for someone who lost a loved one. I still keep my copy close by to use for whatever reason. It covers almost every imaginable situation.You won't go wrong with this purchase.

I was expecting the book to be in the format of his book The Lady, Her Lover, Her Lord so I was a little confused at first...but nevertheless the book is an amazing book filled of promises and scriptures. It is indexed by a certain situation. You find whatever you need God's help and guidance on and turn to that page and there you will find a biblical promise and scripture to help you in your time of need

It has scriptures for all kinds of hardship which is what I like considering I don't always want to read my bible lol I love reading spiritual books..devotionals prayer books and ones like these with plenty of scriptures that are easy to find...it's better than I thought it would be...

I bought this book because I lost my other one. It is an amazing read especially when going throughhard times. I love the size of the book it is compact and I take it everywhere. Fits great in my purse.

Very good book interesting

I gave this book to one of my many god daughters. She is growing in the Lord and needed some inspiration when she needed to hear from God and no one else was around. When I gave it to her she was so excited. She began reading it right away and even brings it to work to read. She said she loves it. I bought two more for my own daughters and they love it. The book has generated many healthy spiritual discussions. Praise God it accomplished what I wanted it to do.

This book speaks to women in a way we can understand even tho it was done back in the 90s it holds true today. Bishop td jakes has the delivery I listen to as much as I can I work in retail so this is the way I get church and I am not the only one so this book is like a purse that completes an outfit I luv it. Thank you

I bought this book for a co-worker who lost her husband. This book came highly recommended and my co-worker shared that she enjoyed reading it.
