Columbia Men's Transverse Hike Waterproof Boot

I usually wear a regular 12 in boots but needed to get wide size for these, so I would say they run narrow in the toe box for a boot. That being said I liked the feel of them and immediately ordered the wide. I have been wearing my work boots on hikes and they are super sturdy, comfy, waterproof...but too heavy for long hikes. For how solid these feel they are extremely light. Good traction on wet surfaces. The heel design doesn't stick out but has a nice rocker to it and makes for a smooth, quiet step. So far very good, I'll update once I have a chance to walk through a few streams*water-resistance was very good, after stepping/standing in water almost to top of shoes a few times my socks got slightly damp

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This pair of boots was perfect for our trip in Iceland. Lots of rain and hiking, feet always dry. The tread/grip was noticeable and good. Very pleased with this product performance.

I have been looking for a waterproof hiking shoe for an upcoming trip. I also wanted that shoe to be good enough to walk on snow and ice in winter. Definitely, Columbia was my first choice. However, finding one within budget wasn't easy. In a discount, it cost me $60. Before this, I tried a few more shoes and returned all after finding this one. I usually wear a size 9.5, but for this one, a size 9 was a better fit. It was surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure from the look and feel that it's waterproof. The shoe also looks amazing.

Simplemente espectacular. Son súper ligeras y muy cómodas. Las compré para mi próximo eurotrip que será en invierno. Espero que funcionen bien. Por lo pronto muy satisfecho.

I've been wearing these12hrs, daily for 2 weeks. So far these are lite weight, water proof, wide enough to be comfortable for my feet, and except high arch insoles(replacing the flat factory ones) without crowding my foot. Good traction on different terrain. My job has me on all kinds of walking surfaces. Time will tell if they make through the summer months.

I have another pair of this one in a different color and just like the first one this is a five stars no doubt about it. The quality is top, they are warm they are comfortable the fit is perfect and the waterproofing works great, overall amazing value for the money. I paid $60 for it
