Put the blocks on strings and trailed them across the attic the ends tied to the uprights. A couple of nights of banging as the rats explored or nibbled the blocks. its been three weeks since then and all quiet no scampering or scraping so it seems like its worked ! Haven't been to look yet!!

I've recently had a mouse infestation in my office - you know it's bad when you're aware of them! After a few key network cables in the ceiling void got eaten it was time to start putting some bait down there. I bought a few of the small plastic poison trays from Amazon as well to put the sachets in so if they ate them and the contents fell out the packet, it wouldn't make as much of a mess. I baited 6 points above the ceiling and the next day it was all gone without a trace, therefore I suspect they took it back to their nest. This went on for nearly 2 weeks, with bait being taken and no sign of any mess there until we then had the smell of dead mice - still, a result though. Given the level of infestation we had, I ended up putting 2-3 sachets out at each point so actually ordered this product a number of times. I know it can take a week for it to actually take effect and given the number of mice we apparently had, this seemed to be pretty effective. I'd certainly recommend this as now for the past month no more bait has been taken and no more cables eaten thankfully.
