The Belly Putt- Putter Extension Kit

Waste of time as threw off putter weight and feel.

I got this to see if I would like a belly putter. Turns out I don't. That was better than buying a whole putter. Now hopefully i can sell this thing as it's functionally fine.

The Belly Putt is a really great product. I couldn't be happier with it. Really easy to install and very well made. It is great to be able to adjust the length to get it just right and also to be able to collapse it or remove it if you want to go back to normal putting. Also of course it is easy to move between putters. Really neat and useful product.

I was looking at purchasing a long putter to help with my terrible putting. I saw this item and thought I would give it a shot. The item arrived on time and I installed it immediately. The install was quick and easy but the collar that slides into the top of the putter grip was cracked. It was still usable so I just rolled with it. The actual item worked great and I definitely saw an improvement in my putting. Plus, the fact the height is adjustable meant I could custom fit it to my height so if I did purchase a long putter, I know the length I'm looking for.

I wanted to try the belly putter so purchased this product. The only trouble I had was that it wobbled slightly. Putting is hard enough but when the shaft moves its really difficult.

The Belly Putt is OK for learning how to use a belly putter or as an aid for determining if you may benefit from using a belly putter. However any putter with the belly putt attached is no longer a conforming club and in competition is a breach of Rules 4-1a. The penalty for carrying the club in stroke play is two strokes for each hole carried with a maximum of four penalty strokes. Any club or clubs carried in breach of Rule 4-1 must be declared out of play by the player to his opponent in match play or his marker or a fellow-competitor in stroke play immediately upon discovery that a breach has occurred. If the player fails to do so, he is disqualified. If a stroke is made with the non-conforming club, the player is disqualified.Note: refer to Section 3c in the USGA Publication "A Guide to the Rules on Clubs and Balls."

For me it was only functional for one use so I was not able to try it on different length shafts - but is work great for one try.

I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. I've never been a bad putter but never a particularly good one. I bought a putter with a laser in the face to practice aiming with, so my aim got pretty good, but I was still subject to pushes and pulls. With this extension device I was able to lengthen the putter I already had, so it was the same club that I had learned to aim but now easier to square up. There's a reason they banned the anchored stroke, guys. It really is easier. Hopefully that ban won't affect this product too much because it's ingenious and really, really works. If you're thinking you want to give the belly putter a try then get this instead of spending $200 on a OEM putter. Installation really was a breeze and the extension holds tight. I've never had it budge since I installed it.
