Adjust the razor's handle to achieve the proper degree angle. Be prepared to devote time to perfecting the technique. Like with most other things, practice makes perfect. Your first few attempts at using a safety razor may result in a few mistakes, but that shouldn't stop you from continuing to use it. With proper practice and maintenance of the razor, you'll become an expert at shaving with safety razors in no time.

A Highly Recommended Product!!!
This product is an awesome find. The weight is perfect and does not slip from my hands when shaving. The craftmanship is close to perfection and can compete with other high end brands. I love pairing this with a Feather blade because it gives me a very close shave everytime. I used this also with other blades such as Astra SP, Personna Blue Labs, Personna Red, Rapira, Dorco, and Voskhod to name a few with great results. No nicks just very clean and comfortable shave. This product will last for a very long time and will be in my regular rotation definitely. This product is highly recommended.

Not a close shave at all
The construction is strong and durable.The bladeholder outcrop is too far extended and hence even at a 40 degree angle farless 45 degrees..the blade cannot cut or give one a close shave.I am disappointed and I am not new to shaving. This safety razor is economical , durable but fails to give the desired close cut.I tried Parker blades apart from my Astra blades to see if it was the blades,but on closer examination of where the blade holder outcrop is a little too far extended .True this is designed to give mamixum protection against cuts and knicks,but it ultimately fails to to give a smooth bald head.

You get a better shave at a small fraction of the price
I was a little nervous I would have to go to work with bits of toilet paper stuck to my face. Not at all, very smooth, clean shave. I have been brainwashed into using the multiple blade cartridge razors for years. You get a better shave at a small fraction of the price. Make the switch!

Want old school shave? This is it.
Simple, clean design. A bit hard to clean . Must be careful to clean and remove razor. Requires dismantling, each time used to clean. Very old school shaving experience.No safety edges.

Textured Handle for Safety! Love it!
I recently bought this razor and the Breett Double Edge Safety Razor Shave Kit in order to compare which one would be better for my use. They are both screw-top full head removed razors and are both weighted. However, this one will take the cake because the handle is textured to prevent any slipping during shaving. This is great because I won't have to worry about slipping and accidentally cutting myself or dropping the razor because the texture of the handle. As well, the size of the razor is just right and it fits perfectly with the shavestand I bought from Velkomin. (I'm referring to the Velkomin Deluxe Chrome Razor and Brush Stand Holder in case anyone is interested).I have no problems with this razor yet; however, I've only used it once so I won't expect any problems soon. I shave pretty often so, if any problems are to arise within the first month of this review, I will go back and adjust it accordingly.

need manual for this
I think price is ok, and fact that it can be nearly permanent can be awesome,but there is no manual included in this product at all. I have used the one time 3 blades shaver,but this one is a bit hard to use. I tried using it like other razor/shaver, but it won't work.can somebody please tell how it works? I really like the product, and quality, but it is not like any othernormal razor that I used before. Price was ok, and quality is great, but they definitely need totell customers some tip for using their product. It was with box, and only product, no manuals included.Overall, other than manual, I really like the products, but no manuals took away the 2 stars.
