This is my favorite knife and I have many. It's a savage- thick and strong. It's not terribly expensive for the quality, steel properties, and fit and finish. It's got great heft. The non-slip scales are foolproof in any weather. So so thicc! I have more confidence in this knife going into the bush or going into battle than any other knife in my extensive collection. On top of all of that- it's drop-dead gorgeous.

Felt perfect in hand.Balance felt good Absolutely loved the thickness on it. Waited for a long long time and did alot of homework on even what model to purchase. I am a welder and journeyman field service heavy Equipment Mechanic. I owe Bunches and Bunches ot knives. I will say when I finally got to open package and get. Y hands on it I was like a little kid.I couldn't quit giggling and smiling. It was everything I hoped it was, But Don't let anyone kid you the edge that was on that beautiful crafted beast of hunka chunka steel ,had an edge on it that I know you would of injured much worse than trying to cut him. Have not had any time to c how long it is going to take to be able to give it the edge that it deserves. So as of now it sits on my table downstairs and just look and giggle abit. Because I definitely would not show it to any of the boys in my world.They already think I am nuts for paying what I did for it.But I am still overwhelmed that I actually own it. Waited long time to own one. But was very disappointed with edge as of now.Hope when I get sometime some beer and an extra large premo cigar from my 87 yr old dad.That it will be more than a really pretty paperweight Lol.

Amazing and beautiful heavy duty knife

After reading a lot of reviews I was hesitant to purchase this knife. I am glad that I bought this knife it has a substantial weight that I appreciate but not overly bulky in my opinion but I also swing a steel Eastwing hammer all day so user results may vary. As far as people saying the grip is too rough I work with my hands all day and enjoy the confidence of a grip that well to put it blatantly has grip. If you work in an office all day this might be just too much knife for you
