Quality fuel line. Always good to have extra on hand and a savings over buy smaller pieces each time they are needed from a parts store.

11/24 - This hose is rated at 50psi; not for fuel injected systems. Be sure to know the psi you run. The hose is top notch; very pliable; take to curves well. Perfect for carburetor vehicles or low pressure return lines. My car runs 40psi so it should be okay. I got this to replace the cheap, cracked, China hose I bought less than a year ago. I'll update this post next year.

High quality Gates Hose at good price

Works great. I used it to hook up a fuel filter to hard line on my 383 big block. It bent without kinking with no issues. So far, very happy with it.

Gates makes great products. I have no complaints about the quality or cost. What annoys me is that they make half of their products in the USA and the other half in Mexico. I’ve replaced all the hoses in multiple vehicles and usually in today’s world it’s hard to find all USA made products. I try to buy American when I can but on most of my vehicles they have a few hoses that were made in Mexico. I usually don’t let it bother me but on my classic car that I have restored, a 1971 AMC Javelin SST, it does bother me that I can’t get all matching hoses. I have to decide between if I want to use all hoses from one brand and have half say made in USA and half say made in Mexico or if I want to use multiple brands that all say made in USA. I chose the second option. It’s a classic American vehicle and it only looks right with American made parts. I just wish I didn’t have to choose.

Of course this hose is just fine.

You can buy this at local parts stores for about 3 dollars a foot. Or you can buy it here for about a dollar a foot and have it delivered to your door step. Exact same fuel line.
