Beautiful for decoration, not so great for food fermentation
I purchased this to use for fermentation (not decoration, as pictured). It is a simple crock with a lovely bluebird stamp, and I would highly recommend it for aesthetics, if you need something like this! However, the shape was not true to form - the bottom is circular, but the rim is not (at least the one I received), and therefore it wouldn't work for my purposes (I have fermentation weights that won't fit inside, due to the shape). Additionally, the glazing is a little rough, which didn't inspire much confidence for food safety. Overall, it is lovely, but not fit for my purposes.
