the best cleanser for people with light acne

If you've ever used their other holy hydration products, this has a very similar scent to those. So this is a scented product. It's a very light. Very clean smelling scent.This cleanser does cleanse my skin really well and I do like how my skin feels right after I use it. It lathers really well and it took off my sunscreen with no problem. I would use a targeted makeup remover though.The one thing that I don't really like about it is it left my skin feeling dry. If I didn't immediately use a toner and moisturize then my skin was left feeling really tight and dry. I don't have dry skin. I have combination skin that leans more towards oily.For the size and for the price I do think it's worth it.

The first time I used this cleanser, I wasn't really impressed. I didn't feel like it was doing much. It felt kind of slimy to me and I couldn't really tell if my face was clean enough. Anyway, the next time I used it, I followed the advice of other reviewers and used less...what a difference that made! It actually created a creamy lather (not big bubbles) as I rubbed it in my hands, and then as I was cleaning my face, I felt like it was actually removing dead skin....I don't know how to better explain that! After rinsing and drying my face, it did not feel dry at all. So I can definitely this as a facial cleanser, but do use a very small amount - it makes a big difference!

Elf is one of my favorite brands. It's a clean brand which makes me feel good when I use it. My skin always feels good when I wash my face with this. It smells so good, and after I wash my face it doesn't feel very dry or itchy which can happen with certain face washes. Elf is a clean brand that fits within budgets of most people and is just as good as most top shelf brands.

I have softened water where I live, and I made the mistake of using too much on my first use. It took a lot of rinsing to get the cleanser off of my skin. A little goes a long way. After adjusting to a smaller amount applied, the cleanser is perfect for my combination skin. It foams up nicely, and it rinses cleanly without leaving my skin feeling tight. It has a very light, clean fragrance that doesn't linger too long. My skin looks less dull and more hydrated after using this for a few days. It's an amazing product and a great value. I'm happy to have been able to try this cleanser. It's a keeper.

This gel cleanser foams lightly when water is added. It effectively removes makeup and sunscreen without stripping my skin, leaving it hydrated. Although it is fragrance-free, there is a subtle odor that I find unpleasant, but it dissipates once I rinse the cleanser off. Very reasonably priced.
