These come in a hard case that is 5mm thick - about half as thick as a cell phone in a case. There is an opening in the side where you slide the glasses out with your thumb. The frame of the glasses is made of the same kind of plastic as the case. The arms are thin and flat, and have little teeth to help them stay on.It's not easily apparent which way the arms fold out, I feel like it would be easy to break these if you weren't paying attention when you open them. It's also hard to tell which arm to fold in first to put them back in the case - there's a tiny white circle near the end of the arm that goes first. It really is exactly the right size and no wiggle room.These aren't the kind of glasses to wear around all the time, but they are nice to keep in a purse or pocket for restaurant menus or reading a label when you go out, and they'd be great to take on a plane. The earpieces are straight so they fold up well, but also don't stay on if you move your head a lot.I got the purple color, and they are a very dark, muted purple but not as dark as the listing photo seemed.

I ordered these reading glasses from Amazon, they arrived quickly in a nice box. Out of the box I received a black slim case which reading glasses in it. In order to remove the glasses from the case you have slide it out from the opening of the case. I ordered these glasses for my wife, so she can safely keep them in her purse. Glasses fold flat in order to fit into the case, this could be a learning curve, trying to slide the glasses in without breaking them. Because they made completely out of plastic. They have no nose pads or spring mechanism on the handles. They also look very different when They open, both sides of the frame kind of sticks out creates a some sort of eccentric look. Because of these reasons my wife wasn't to keen on these glasses. I'll be keeping them in my bicycle pouch, so incase I need reading glasses during my bike ride I can use them. They are extremely slim, so they are great space savers. For this purpose I recommend them.

I had bought my husband the phone case with the glasses a while back but the glasses recent broke. I bought the extra pair assuming they would fit into the case but unfortunately they don’t. The new ones are too small and slide right out. They will work fine as a spare but a little annoyed I would need to buy a whole new case to get the correct glasses to fit inside them.

These are a very clever design that folds down to be ultra compact so you can easily tuck them away somewhere. The fact that they fit into the super slim case is what really makes them special, as you don't have to worry about scratching the lenses during storage. The plastic is high quality and has a bit of flex to adjust to different head sizes, and the lenses are clear and easy to read through.Given what they are, they are surprisingly comfortable to wear and function very well. These obviously are not ideal for daily long term use, but in a pinch I'll be very happy to have them!

These light ultra compact reading glasses are super compact, sturdy and I do love the beautiful color. However, due to the compact design, they are probably due to everyone. I am okay with these, but my husband found these hard to stay in place. Overall I would say this product is worth trying but probably not for everyone.

I agree that these glasses are surprisingly compact. They come folded inside of a plastic case that seems like it would take some rough handling if, for example, you want to keep these in your car. Thes are find for emergency glasses. You pull the folded glasses from the case, and unfold them for use. They are not at all comfortable, and they do not stay in place on your face. These are not anything you would use regularly. The magificiation seemed to be OK as far as I could tell and the glass was clean and unscratched. I had a little trouble refolding them and putting them back in the case. There is one way to do it, and you need to do it that way each time. I showed these to several other people to get their feedback and they all had trouble getting the glasses back in the case. These would be a nice novelty, and if the price were much lower, I would recommend getting a pair or two to keep in the car, or wherever you might need reading glasses. But the price on these, which is $29.90 at the time of this review, is just too much for what you're getting.

I like the small hard case that the glasses come in. It takes up very little space in my purse. The glasses are very lightweight and fold up pretty much flat and then slide into the hard case. I use these to read the menu in restaurants. I like that the case is so small that it will fit in my small clutch and small crossbody bag. While I won't win any fashion awards while wearing these, they are super convenient. They work great for having a pair of readers in your small purse.
