Great HIt
My great nephew LOVED this set, he is 8 and is for now, into the Civil War. He loves how many pieces there are in the set and I also purchased the Safari Ltd. Historical Collections Civil War Officer's Tent. He was so happy to get that as well. Very realistic.

The pieces were better made than most sets. Our grandson loved it. He plays with it a bunch and the pieces are holding up well

My grandson loves his new Civil War soldiers, he sits and plays with them for hours. I even give him a history lesson on the Civil War. The set is very educational. I am glad I made the purchase.

Great Find
Was so excited to see this and at a reasonable price. Though I haven't gave it to my son yet, saving it for his birthday. I know he is going to flip with excitement when he sees this. He is so big on the army guys and loves watching civil war movies. This is so perfect for him. I cant wait to give it to him. Recommend this to anyone.

Great For Collectors of Armymen, or hobyists.
Well first off I want to say how amazed I was by how fast the item came to me, and then I want to say how happy I was with the cool detail in the soldiers I got with it. I am a grown historian of the American civil war, and I can say that these are fantastic gifts for your kids! The mortars, or siege guns and cannons with limbers were great additions to my project Im making, and the walls look really great. They go great with the other armymen products by BMC that I own and am very happy. Buy it if your a fan of plastic army men or a diorama builder as I am.

Very nice set
I was impressed with the quality and authenticity. The cannons are matched to the time period and the horses stand up on their own. If a person wants to set up battle scenarios, it is worth buying sevearl of these sets

Necessary, but inaccurate.
Great value for so many men. However the ratio of cannon to soldiers is insane. No army would have a cannon for every 10 men. There are also way too many officers. So there are only a few frontline troops available. If you are just starting your collection, buy this. If you are looking for more men to fill out a regiment, don't buy this.

Wonderful, a bag full
Wow there are many pieces and the pieces are bigger than I imagine. Great for Civil War fan. The only bad thing is that there is no reusable bag or box. The item itself is cool, highly recommend
