Not sure about redness. But it has stopped my breakouts and made my skin appear clearer. It will matte your skin more. Love it

How long would the 8 oz bottle approximately last? 25 bucks seems steep.

I only ordered the 2OZ bottle and it lasted about 1-2 mos. I only use it once a day.
