Preschool Skills (Home Workbooks) Paperback – January 4, 2010

There are only a few pages to this workbook but it's actually jam packed with a great variety of activities. It's actually thin enough to throw into my purse and to take it to restaurants with us. My 3 year old daughter really enjoys working in it. It's not just filled with tracing letters and writing numbers, it has matching, counting, connect the dots, patterns and more. I have bought many, many, many workbooks from Amazon and Costco and I would highly recommend this one.

Bought several of this brand of workbook and they have been wonderful for my son. He was two when we started these and some of the harder ones he is doing now at 3. I plan to continue to buy this brand as it looks like some of them go up to 6th grade. They are cheap enough to where once he is done using them it isn't a problem to order a replacement. he really enjoys the gold stars they came with and having them applied to his completed pages.

My 4-year old loves using these books to play school, and I love that they reinforce what she is learning at preschool. These books are a great size for throwing in a bag for travel or waiting anywhere really. We use them, especially for travel.

This isn't a bad book, it's nice quality and has a lot of different activities, but I rated it lower because it's supposed to be for preschoolers and I find it way too advanced so far for my 3 year old. She's bright and knows her alphabet, can count, knows colors, shapes, etc. and we've done other workbooks and flashcards that she gets but this was way over her head. Maybe should be listed for 4 or 5 year olds.

This book was great for learning with my pre-schooler. The variety of activities and colorful design was nice. I thought it was a high quality work book.

My daughter is 3 1/2. i got this to prepare her for preschool. The first few pages are great. They teach basic tracing and connecting pictures to their matches (bird to egg; cat to kitten, etc), which is great. But then it goes into many pages of tough cutting exercises and then to opposites and counting. That's a BIG jump for a child who has never sat down to a preschool workbook. We are taking this book slow & doing best we can.

I purchased this for my 3 1/2 year old. He loves the bright colors. The pages are not perforated but do tear out easily. Great for fine motor skills with several cut and paste pages. Includes lots of gold stars too!

Kids are loving this workbook. It has tracing and cutting and pasting. A lot of stuff to keep the little ones learning while having fun.
