Q: How many pads in refill?

The most recent package I bought on Amazon had 100 pads for 10.59 which I thought was a great deal. I cut them in half as well. One half pad is enough to do each eye unless they are really super bad. They are great pads to use. I tried other things but these pads are worth the money

Q: What is the diameter of these pads? I need them to fit in a jar with a diameter of 3.5".

The pads are 2 3/8" when measured across, they should fit.

Q: Why so expensive?! $13$ with tax for 100 cotton pads !

I am not sure why as well but I still use them. I have tried different things but these work like a charm. Maybe it is they are very thin which really helps. I have tried make up pads and cotton balls. The liquid gets so soaked into those. used to much liquid get soaked like the thin pads. Haven't seen anything else on the market I cut them in half and use a half for each eye. Sometimes however I use two whole pads

Q: Are these just plain pads or is there a dried solution on them that might expire or become unsafe before I use them all?

These pads are plain with no solution on them. They are great pads for the eye envy solution that you buy separately. I recommend these highly.
