The very best of 10cc, classic 70s rock.
This CD takes me right back to my teenage years way back in the 1970s.My favourite tracks are - Rubber bullets, The Dean and I, The Wall Street shuffle, Good morning judge and Dreadlock holiday, that said the whole album is very good, brings back some great memories from the 70s.

Fantastic production
Fell in love with this album all over again last night. Sat here and played it right through. The Une Nuit A Paris track was especially welcoming. 10CC were amazing. Quirky titles such as Life Is A Minestrone are included. (Love that line: ..."served up with parmesan cheeeeese!" Then, when he gets to the 'cold lasagne' bit, you begin to wonder if the guy's all right. Ahem! Ever heard The Hospital Song? It's shockingly funny! Wish it was on here.)These lads are full-on funny when they want to be, and full-on serious at other times. If you bother to listen to the lyrics, Under Your Thumb might scare you. Meanwhile, Donna gets an airing on here. That's how I remember 10CC crashing into Top of the Pops! See, these guys were around in the Glam Rock days of the early 70s, but none of that touched them. They were a hit in their own songwriting right, and you can hear it even as they were before being 10CC with Neanderthal Man as per their Hotlegs days. The album How Dare You is represented in songs like Art For Art's Sake. Some early stuff: Rubber Bullets, The Dean and I... through to some of the later stuff: People In Love; Wedding Bells; Cry... shows how well represented and thought-out this compilation is. Not just another chart-fest but a serious look at some of the music of Graham Gouldman; Eric Stewart; Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. It's good to be impressed all over again. Lovely album.
