Sony LMP-H180 LCD Projector Assembly with Original Bulb Inside

It was a such a relief to find this bulb. My husband had been searching for it for a long time. He needed it for his movie projector. He enjoys watching movies from his large collection of DVDs and was very disappointed that he could not locate this bulb at any store. He was excited when we found it on Amazon. The package came quickly and the bulb worked perfectly. All’s well in his basement movie room!!

This bulb replacement was for my SONY VPL-HS20, and while there have been some who commented that the bulb shipped to them was not what they expected, I can say that the one shipped to me was a Phillips made bulb and that's the part that counts. The housing was a tiny bit different, but it still fit snugly and most important it worked very well. There were two positives, 1. the projector came up to full bright in faster time (35sec compared to 1min 50sec), and 2. it was noticeably brighter than before. My previous bulb had 2800hrs on it. Overall I am very pleased with this selection.

This replacement bulb worked great. I have an older Sony projector model that has a great picture and finding replacement bulbs have been difficult. This was my fourth attempt from different companies all of which the bulbs either did not work or were very dim or overheated my unit. This bulb worked great and I’m extremely excited that I was able to find a replacement for my projector theater room Sony model.

I ordered this LMP-H180 projector bulb and that is not what came in the box. The outside of the box said it was a Sony LMP-H180, but inside was a bulb for an Epson projector (Kr85). I talked with Exclusivebulbs and wanted a guarantee if I ordered it again that I wouldn't get the wrong bulb a second time. The replacement order arrives and it's the exact same wrong bulb again. Do not order this if you are expecting an LMP-H180 bulb.

This replacement bulb worked well with my projector and it seems to have improved the picture. The price was lower than a previous purchase from another site which I had to return.
