Cuisinart DCC-3200 Perfec Temp 14-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Stainless Steel White, White Coffee Maker

Make sure that you read all of the instructions when setting up this coffee machine—a lot of steps and helpful information. So far, I love this coffee machine. It looks beautiful on my counter, it brews the coffee at a set time in the morning for me, and coffee tastes great. The only thing I wish was different is that the top part of the pot lifted instead of having to take the whole piece off when filling with water. Although this isn't that big of a deal, I am just used to that feature in past coffee machines. Also, the 1-4 cup feature really only equals 1.5 cups (I have regular sized mugs). Lastly, it makes sporadic loud noises when kept on to keep the pot warm.

Love this machine. Makes a very fine cup of coffee ... It's a slower brew time than most but that's also why the coffee tastes so good. The different temp selections on the carafe plate warmer are really nice ... ...I've yet to taste a burnt cup. It's makes a LOT of coffee and the smaller brew options works great as well. You need to put in the amount of water for the size pot you're brewing ... The one to four cup button doesn't control the amount of water that gets brewed... It's not like some makers on the market where you can fill the reservoir and it'll stop itself at two cups. If you overfill it, there will be a waterfall out the back top ... Learned right away to check the reservoir before filling. Operator error I got the white one and the ease of cleaning this unit is great. You can fit your hand inside the carafe to clean it unlike taller thinner carafes I've had. It's a simple body so clean up is a breeze. Really glad I went with the Cuisinart. I've always used the bold/rich settings on other machines but this one is as good as those on the regular setting... Rich is the default here, depending on your beans. The bold setting is great for afternoon sweet coffee with creamer when you still want rich coffee flavor. There's a mesh filter or you can use a paper filter. The tiny looking scoop IS a TABLESPOON although it doesn't look like it is at all.

Is there a piece missing to my carafe? Just opened the box and I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or defective carafe

I was disappointed it never came but the seller quickly gave me a refund when I requested it update 2/26 this was relisted at a great price. I took a chan e and it was delivered as promised and packaged with care. This is the same as my original cuisenart coffee maker that wore out a couple years ago but in a color that matches my kitchen . It makes delicious coffee fairly quick, is not noisy, no leakes, & large size. It has a bold option ( important to me) , carafe temp option and can be programmed ( haven't used that yet) VERY HAPPY

I bought this coffee maker in July, it started acting up in Nov and smelled like it was burning. I contacted Cuisinart and they sent me a new one, great customer service. I’ve had another cuisinart coffee maker before this one that lasted me a few years.
