My long search for headphones is over.My GOAL: Comfort = Sound quality > portability = bluetooth > priceCOMPARISON:- B&W P9 - great sound, premium quality, but uncomfortable (concentrated pressure points from the earcups)- VMODA - great/fun sound, portable and foldable, but uncomfortable (high clamping force), sturdy- BO H9 - pricey but cheap built quality, good sound, bulky to handle, decent comfort- QCII - pricey with cheap sound quality and built quality, comfort is not as great as people say (ear pads too large and covers large part of ur face)- PXC550 - great sound, premium quality, but uncomfortable (high clamping force)- 1000xm2 - decent sound, decent quality (plasticy), on the heavier side, ok comfort (ears touch inside of headphones which is bothersome)- AT-s700BT - good sound, great/cheap price, but bluetooth connection is awful/drops alot, good comfortable earpads but wierd uneven clamping force on bottom of earcups- Senheisser momentum 2.0 - great sound, not very portable/foldable, bulky to carry around, slightly uncomfortableI couldn't find any comfortable over-the-ear closed headphones to travel with. My pick for the most comfortable over-the-ear are open back (SONY MA-900, Beyerdynamic dt series) but these are for home-use (and have no bluetooth)Thus, I started to look into over-the-ear and found Aventhos.PROS- sounds quality superb like B&W P9 (from non-audiophile)- sounds quality still superb even with bluetooth- bluetooth connection never dropped and connect better than QCII, B&O- comfortable - has some clamping pressure but can flex the headband for less. It is on-ear, which I didn't think I would like but after using so many over-the-ear headphones and finding some of them uncomfortable, this on-ear headphone i can wear for hours. Used for movies, gaming, flight.- built quality is sturdy and high-end, matches what you're paying for - unlike QCII , B&O- Misc: USB 3.0 connection, touch pad for controlsCONS / FUTURE WANTS- A bit heavy for on-ear headphone - comparable to over-the-ear headphone weight but heavier than other on-ear headphones- Not foldable- Would want more padding on the ears/headband or at least other options for different shapes of cushions (oval instead of circular). I like the shape of the AT headphones (ovale) as it feels like it's wrapping around your ear and has a better seal w less pressure**** Thanks amazon for letting me try on so many.

I owned many headphones and IEMs such as flatship products of AKG, Sennheiser. And I looked for portable bluetooth headphones for my daily outdoor use.After I tried B&W's bluetooth cans, I choosed Beyer's because its lightweight and superior sounds that performs nearly the same SQ level of B&W's.Here is my summaries:Pros:1. Superior sounds for bluetooth cans. The sounds presents a natual and uncolored way to instruments.2. Very long battery life3. Lightweight and feels no pressure for long listening session.4. Nice build qualityCons:1. The sound personalisation is fun for the first use. But I prefer the natual characteristics of this cans more.2. Sound-stage is not wide enough.Lastly, thanks to the prompt response and professional for the customer service.

These are the ultimate on-ear cans. (Unless you want a test instrument, like the DT1350 lab version.) Beyerdynamic is customer-focused, too--especially with the studio equipment.The Good: Diminutive, well appointed and don't draw attention themselves in public. Audio quality is outstanding overall. Durable. Yes, klutzes will able to break these, but it takes A LOT more abuse to do it than your average Beats By China cans.The Bad: The bass is nice and clear, but a little too overpowering. I understand that these are consumer headphones, but I wish they had a port or something like the Custom-i. The metal frame is durable, but scratches everything, including the headphones.The Ugly: None.

I really want to like this headphone, it has great sound quality, it is comfortable to wear and there is no issue with Bluetooth connectivity.However, it cracked and will likely fall apart soon. I don’t know if it is cheap material or bad design, the bottom line is you won’t expect this to happen for a $360 headphone.

Sound quality is great, I almost can’t believe this little thing can make such a sweet sound, loved it when I heard it the very first moment. It also has beautiful look, looks well built. Only one down side is it’s on ear, so my ear hurts a bit when wearing over 30 minutes, but I wouldn’t really call it a downside since taken off my headphone for every 30 minutes can actually protect my hearing. Overall, it’s very worth it. Can’t understand why the rating is this low

Battery life appears great. Sound quality is superior for Blue Tooth device category. Nice fit for me but may be too tight for others.These are quality headphones and not suitable for rough treatment. Great for careful treatment not for throwing around in the dorm or back seat.

Maybe I just got a bad example, but the Bluetooth reception was intermittent and unreliable, even from just a few feet away. The sound quality was also not as good as I expected at this ridiculous price.

I have had more pairs of headphones than I’d care to remember. These could be the last pair I’ll ever need to purchase because they are comfortable, light weight yet pack a great sound. They are wireless yet like other wireless headphones that sound horrible if you have to use the cord, this sound just as great with or without the cord. Pricey yes, but if you’re looking at them then price really doesn’t matter to you. Pull the trigger already and you won’t be sorry.

Nachdem mein alter kabelgebundener Beats Solo den Geist aufgegeben hatte, den ich stets mit einem HighEnd-Kopfhörer-Verstärker betrieben habe (und damit auch max Lautstärke rausholen konnte) sollte ein nun endlich ein kabelloser Kopfhörer (ohne Voice Canceling her, das mag ich gar nicht).Nach langem Recherchieren kamen der Beats Solo 3 und der eben der Beyerdynamic Aventho in die engere Auswahl.Schon nach einem sehr kurzen Hörtest war der Beats Solo draussen, weil er im Vergleich zum alten Beats dramatisch zu leise ist am iPhone. Mit Kabel am Kopfhörer-Verstärker spielte der dann wieder vergleichbar gut und laut wie der alte, hat aber nach wie vor die gleichen Probleme. Er sitzt zu stramm und spätestens nach einer Stund glühen die Ohren. Ausserdem übertreibt er hier und da doch deutlich mit seiner Baß-Lastigkeit.Tja und dann der Aventho, der hat mich glatt vom Sockel gehauen. Gut, er ist kein Sonderangebot, aber jeden Cent Wert, denn er spielt in einer ganz eigenen Liga bei den Bluetooth-Kopfhörern und kann m.E. selbst mit deutlich teureren Kopfhörern locker mithalten.Ursache ist die sogenannte "Personalisierung" über die MIY App von Beyerdynamic, es ist unfassbar was die Personalisierung mit dem Hörtests auf Basis eines Grundrauschens aus dem Kopfhörer rauskitzelt ist einfach phänomenal, wer es nicht glaubt kann ja beim Musikhören zwischendurch mal die Klangpersonalisierung auf AUS stellen, der wird sich dann wundern und schnell wieder auf AN schalten. Ausserdem kann man diese individuelle Klangpersonalisierung über einen Schieberegler stufenlos einstellen.Hier habe ich irgendwo gelesen die Personalisierung würde Verzerrungen erzeugen, völliger Blödsinn, entweder war der Kopfhörer defekt, der Schreiber hat die entsprechende Prozedur nicht sorgfältig durchgeführt oder seine Ohren waren kaputt.Ich höre gerade zum dritten mal meine Lieblings-Referenz-CD "Eagles Live on MTV" durch und mir bleibt noch immer der Mund offen stehen beim Hören, brillante kristallklare Höhen und Mitten und ein "richtiger" präziser und sauberer Bass ohne jede Übertreibung. Für mich die absolute Offenbarung. Diesen Kopfhörer gebe ich definitiv nicht wieder her.Warum nur 4 Sterne anstatt 5:- bevor die MIY App auf meinem iPhone den Kopfhörer erkannt hatte, musste ich erst einen Firmware-Update des Kopfhörers durchführen, mit USB-Kabel am Rechner, das ist schon dreist von Beyerdynamic den Kopfhörer so auszuliefern- der Tragekomfort ist durch den strammen Sitzt auf Dauer etwas eingeschränkt, aber er sitzt lange nicht so stramm wie der Beats solo, der ja schon nach 30 Minuten eher an einen Schraubstock erinnert- die Bedienung über das Touchfeld finde ich ziemlich mäßig implementiert, obwohl man die Empfindlichkeit in der App noch einstellen kann, aber die nutze ich ohnehin nichtAlso Klang 5 Sterne, Bedienung, Tragekomfort 4 Sterne, Preis 3 Sterne

Ich hatte diesen Kopfhörer als Ergänzung zu meinem Sony WH 1000 XM4 gekauft. Hatte mich von dem Hype um Beyerdynamic voll mitreißen lassen. Leider war die Ernüchterung ziemlich enttäuschend.Doch von vorne:Der Kopfhörer ist fantastisch verarbeitet, sieht klasse aus und kommt mit einer sehr wertigen, stylischen und auch festen Stofftasche. Die Verbindung zum IPad hat auf Anhieb geklappt. Der Test in der MIY App war spaßig, ich habe ihn gleich 2x gemacht. Bis dahin alles super, nun der Klangtest.Schon bei den ersten Tönen fällt auf, wie ausgewogen und stimmig der Klang ist, aber irgendwie fehlt es an Tiefgang. Tolle Mitten, tolle Höhen, tolle Bühne, tolle Trennung, aber selbst bei bassstarken Stücken wie Magic von Coldplay, oder thru these Walls von Phil Collins ist der Bass ganz ok, Haut einen aber nicht von den Socken wie beim 1000 XM 4. Da muss der Bass erst mal gedrosselt werden um einen ausgewogenen Klang zu erzeugen. Hat man den Bass dann unter Kontrolle, schwebt man klanglich in Bereichen, die früher so nicht möglich wären.Leider hat die App MiY keinerlei Möglichkeiten den Klang zu verändern, nur die Intensität der Personalisierung, was nicht wirklich hilft.Versteht mich nicht falsch, die KH haben einen sehr ausgewogenen Klang, aber es haut einen einfach nicht um. Ein Equalizer würde hier helfen, denn die Teile können bestimmt richtig tief.Extrem auffällig ist diese Bassarmut bei Titeln wie Biko von Peter Gabriel. Hier ist die Pauke ein zentrales Element des Songs, und die wird hier nur dezent wiedergegeben, da nützt es auch nichts wenn die Stimmen/Mitten sehr authentisch klingen.Wem also die Bass-Spucke wegbleiben soll, der sollte zum Sony greifen, wer auf einen ausgewogenen neutralen Klang steht, ist mit diesem wohl besser beraten.Meiner geht jedenfalls zurück.

These were a gift for someone else, but I had a chance to listen to them for a fair amount of time so can provide some thoughts.These sound wonderful, as long as you're not a basshead. The low end, whilst not thin by any stretch, isn't over-exaggerated and sounds tight and well defined. The rest of the range is detailed and enjoyable, the Tesla drivers keeping up with complex and demanding music without ever sounding muddled. Soundstage is pretty much as you'd expect from closed back headphones, not expansive but there is clear separation between instruments and a good stereo image.In terms of wireless headphones, I have listened to the Sony WH-1000XM2, Bose QuietComfort 35 II and own the B&W PX. The Aventho easily outclass the Bose and Sony. They are also more capable than the PX, which can sound a bit congested at times.So why have I taken off a star? There are usability issues with the MIY app, and my giftee and I spent at least an hour or so trying and failing to set up the customised sound profile on an Android Oreo handset. We had to upgrade the headphones firmware via a Windows PC, set up the MIY sound profile on an iPhone 7 and once uploaded to the headphones it could then be controlled via the Android app. The single hardware button on the headphones is also very stiff. For the asking price, these issues shouldn't exist.

Vielleicht vorab: ich habe bei Klang durchaus hohe Ansprüche. Mein Standard Equipment ist ein ULTRASONE Edition 8 in Verbindung mit einem Violectric Verstärker. Und ich höre keine MP3 Musik darauf. ;-)Mobil nutze ich einen HiRes Player von Onkyo.Zur Not auch mal iPhone oder iPad.Streamdingst ist bei mir TIDAL HIFI.Mobil war mein Favorit bisher der P5 Wireless von Bowers & Wilkins.Der Beyerdynamic AVENTHO WIRELESS ist in jeder Beziehung ein wundervoller mobiler Kopfhörer.Da ist zunächst ein sehr schönes Design mit starkem Retrotouch unter Verwendung hochwertiger Materialien. Alles passt, nichts wirkt billig. Mit dem ULTRASONE kann er zwar nicht ganz mithalten, aber der kostet auch das 3-fache. Keine Frage, der AVENTHO ist ein Hingucker, der optisch und Haptisch nur Spaß macht.Das Koppeln mit mehreren Zuspielern war ein Kinderspiel und der Kopfhörer verbindet sich seither sofort bei jedem Einschalten sofort. Die Bedienung über die sensorische Außenseite des rechten Lautsprechers klappt problemlos. Die Bluetoothverbindung ist durchweg stabil. Bei mir gibt es bei keinem Zuspielgerät die geringste Unterbrechung. Die Reichweite in der Wohnung ist sehr gut.Natürlich ist letztlich der Klang das wichtigste Argument für einen Kopfhörer.Und was Beyerdynamic hier mit dem AVENTHO Wireless auf die Beine gestellt hat, ist GANZ GROSSES KINO!Schon ohne Personalisierung des Klangprofils über die MIY App klingt der Kopfhörer unglaublich gut. Und das nicht nur bei Zuspielung von HIFI Tonmaterial über APTX, sondern sogar bei nur 320 kbs über AAC.Nach der Personalisierung legt er bei mir nochmals eine Schippe drauf.Egal welche Musik ich höre, Pop, Rock, Techno, Klassik. Der AVENTHO meistert alles unglaublich gut. Eine so weite Bühne habe ich in der Preisklasse noch nie gehört. Da schlägt er locker auch teurere Kopfhörer. Der Klang ist kristallklar und natürlich. Die Bässe sind trocken und überlagern nie die Musik. Stimmen sind präsent, Instrument gut zu identifizieren und zu orten. Das macht so wahnsinnig viel Spaß!Ich war bislang kein grosser Bluetooth Freund. Nutzte es eher als Notlösung oder Bequemlichkeit. Ich habe so viele ausprobiert. Neben meinem P5, auch den P7 von B&W und zuletzt auch den PX.Den H8 und H9 von Bang und Olufson. Und auch Sennheiser.Schlecht sind die alle nicht.Aber der BEYERDYNAMIC AVENTHO Wireless spielt einfach in einer anderen Liga. Ich bin wirklich begeistert.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Als bisher nicht besonders audiophiler Höhrer suchte ich nach einem Top Kopfhöher für Zuhause und unterwegs.Verglichen hatte ich Bowers % Wilkins PX5, Beyerdynamic Aventho sowie einen Knopf Master & Dynamic MW07SB.- B & Wilkins PX5 = Schraubstock am Kopf - unmöglich länger zu tragen- M & D 07SB = zu fummelig und bluetooth nicht stabilDer Beyerdynamic ist vom Klang einfach eine Wucht - vorher soetwas nicht gehört. Da werden Details plötzlich erkennbar .... zB. Duffy "Syrup & Honey" - eine Brillianz und Detail - TOP!!MINUS = Die MIY App funktionierte erst nach dem updaten der SW am KopfhöerMINUS/PLUS = Das personalisierbare Klangbild finde ich echt nocheinmal eine Innovation!! ABER - es bleibt nicht gespeichert wenn der Kopfhöher mit Kabel (nicht BT) betrieben wird!!! Somit nur der halbe Spaß.MINUS = Bediengesten am Gehäuse zur Steuerung funktioniert bei mir (Android) nicht oder nur ganz vereinzeltGROSSES PLUS = Sound!!!Habe sie trotz der MINUSSE trotzdem behalten - der Sound ist einfach umwerfend.Einfach probieren und vergleichen.-
