As good, if not better than the chain stores at a value price!
Boyfriend loves them. He already had a pair from the chain store “dicks” but, when I got my pair, he liked the cushion and the fact it didn’t come 3/4 down his thighs. To be honest, his look more comfortable than mine!!! And mine are comfortable. He loves them and chooses them over the other pair on every bike ride we have done since. They are lightweight, they don’t cause him to sweat. The fit is perfect! He always gets large in everything. Very small man. 165 lbs 5’6” with small legs, no hips or thighs and large is always baggy on him. Medium worked perfect for him. As boxer briefs are meant to be a snug comfortable fit. These biking shorts stretch well, have the coverage it’s suppose to have just as advertised. I highly recommend these, for anyone looking for riding shorts. It makes the ride much easier and comfortable and it’s not noticeable you’re wearing them. I would not hesitate. They been through the wash multiple times without any issues. Along with drying. They are fantastic, I am going to look in the future does this company make them for women as well, as mine are comfortable but they don’t have the same kind of seem etc. I think he got a little nicer than me. I say go for it. You won’t be disappointed, don’t go to the big chain stores and overpay for something just as good right here!

Use for motorcycle seat padding
I bought these to relieve my discomfort with saddle soreness after hours on the bike. They work really well. Size medium has plenty of room for my size 33 waist. They don’t feel too bulky and stay comfortable all day. Great value for the price point.

Fit very small, but well made
Bought these for motorcycle riding which is one of the promoted purposes for these padded briefs. I ordered an XXL which is always a very comfortable size for me in briefs. These are at least a size too small and ride very low. I took a short 1-1/2 hour motorcycle ride to see if I noticed any comfort improvement. Normally after a few hours in the saddle the backside suffers. While these were not bad, I also did not notice any improvement whatsoever which really disappointed me. The quality is first rate - no complaints there. I wonder if the lack of improved comfort can be attributed to the fact the fit is at least a size too small?FOLLOW UP: I bought another pair in a much larger size. Fit better around the waist, but still short in the leg. The legs ride up into the crotch when worn under cotton jeans while taking long motorcycle rides. Have to stop and adjust every two hours or so due to the discomfort. These are likely designed for bicycle riding under different outer clothing, and more suited for a bicycle seat than for a wider and deeper motorcycle seat. Sadly, these do not work for my desired purpose. My intention was to better distribute the pressure spots to relieve discomfort on long rides. In shorter rides these work ok, better than regular boxers. On longer rides, over 3 hours, the pressure points still cause discomfort. I'm not being critical of the pants but pointing out that for motorcycle riding these are not well suited to provide relief. The padding is not the correct size nor configuration to remediate the pressure points or to provide support that offers comfort on long rides.

Reasonable Investment... but first make sure your bike is properly fit to you
If you’re a novice to cycling and experiencing discomfort or pain in “those places”, I strongly suggest you confirm you’re properly dialed into your bike before you buy anything. By that, I mean first check that your saddle is at the correct height. (With the ball of your foot on the peddle at its lowest point, your knee should be slightly flexed. Not a lot, just slightly.) After that, confirm your handlebars are properly positioned. Too low and you get too much lean and too much pressure on the perineum; too high and you wind up sitting back a tad, creating extra pressure on the sit bones.Your LBS can handle this in 10 minutes and it resolves many problems new riders experience. That said, these shorts are a big help for mild discomfort at a reasonable price. Consider also a gel chamois versus this sponge. Comments about size are accurate; consider buying one size larger.
