I became aware of Pink Sun a while ago when I took a friend to see a nutritionist as she was being treated for cancer and wanted to work on her diet. The benefits of Pink Sun above sugar made me begin my journey. Not only does Pink Sun taste better than any other sweetener it can be used in cooking, in hot drinks, on cereals and it has half the calories of sugar. An amazing product.

I’ve had this on a subscription for about a year (possibly longer). Not only is it the perfect substitute for sugar but it’s also pure xylitol with no harmful additives.Works well in tea and coffee. No aftertaste. And apparently xylitol helps with preventing cavities!Genuinely can’t recommend enough!

However what follows is personal to me and may help others.Xylitol, Birch based Finnish xylitol to be precise is what I have always purchased either here in the UK or in Spain. I first discovered this product round about May 2014 and my files tell me this was for dental work.My teeth have been poor from the very beginning.Anyway I read somewhere in my files that xylitol has specific properties that allow the bacteria Streptococcus mutans to be washed from the mouth, gums and teeth, more correctly the soft tissue/ soft internal tissue. S. mutans will always come back but the xylitol will inhibit or reduce its growth. Bacteria in the mouth can lead to a runaway dental health problems. Its a continuous process of taking a level teaspoon, perhaps 3x/4x times day. A daily routine. It helps but it doesn’t completely remove the need for professional dental hygienic interventions, but then thats life. Finally, relearn how to brush your teeth.But I now want to say more about the benefits for men. And those diagnosed with BHP or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.I have had this condition since 2015. I can’t find dates earlier than this. Xylitol, because it eventually passes to the bladder and then the urethra, allows for the urethra to be lined with the same properties as seen in the mouth so that a constricted bladder now has a lubricated passage to remove urine from the bladder. This means that infections such as UTI have less chance of giving you all the associated problems with passing urine. I still have to palpate my solar plexus/ bladder at times but at least I am not having surgery and I am also not taking any prescription drugs. Secondly, try really hard to drink more water - a little bit and often not only to keep yourself hydrated but also to flush away s. mutans from your mouth. A dry mouth is a perfect environment for the replication of the bacteria.I have no complications with taking xylitol, more importantly it is not a drug but a food and requires no special cautions to be observed. However, a disturbed gut may result from over indulgence in the use of xylitol. You will will have good days and bad but you will ultimately have more of those better days. Tastes great. I felt the difference in my sugar levels. The quality is absolutely outstanding. My uncle produces his own but in another country and only for his own family. This is like from heaven... but quite expensive.

This xylitol tastes a bit better than some other brands out there, after taste for someone like me who’s trying to give up real sugar is tolerable-I take about 2.5 spoons in my black tea (yes I have a sweet tooth)...but... boy oh boy... let me tell you, within an hour of taking it, you better be near a loo coz it’s like armageddon 😂, you will definetly not be constipated while taking this stuff!

I was a bit sceptical to try this product. After speaking to a friend at work I thought I'd give it a whirl. I have been thinking about reducing my sugar intake for a while and this product seemed to fit the bill. The product states that it contains 40% less calories than the equivalent in sugar. Definitely a plus point for me. The most important thing however is obviously the taste. I would say it's really good. Initially (I think more psychologically) I did miss the real thing but I have got used to the Xylitol and don't miss sugar at all. I've used it in baking and in my tea and coffee and thankfully my food and drink still taste really good. The one negative for me is the price. All in all great product but wish it was slightly cheaper.

I've been using this product for 2 years already and find it very useful. I can sweet my tea or salads without thinking about sugar as something wrong in my everyday diet. I would recommend for everybody who try to watch his/her figure.

It is Finnish birch Xylitol, best to replace sugar!!!
