We purchased this cat tower to replace a seemingly sturdy, expensive one we had bought at one of the pet store chains. We had to toss that one because staples were popping out of it and injuring our cat. This one had decent reviews, and I have two kittens plus an adult cat who loves to be up high, so this one fit the bill. It was very easy to assemble. We got the grey color, which blends nicely into our decor. You do need to use straps or some method to attach this to the wall; otherwise, it wobbles. This is not a big deal for me, but I do think it's less sturdy and solid than the reviews seemed to indicate. Once I attached the straps, it wobbled less, but it didn't stop entirely. It's a decent value for the money, but I would have liked it to be a bit heavier with less swaying, just for the safety of my cats. They love it, though, and one of their favorite sections is the tippy top where they can look down on us humans.

This cat tree was extremely easy to assemble. It only made my fingers sore due to all the screwing I had to do. The reason I’m only giving it a four star is because it isn’t very sturdy. It wiggles when the cats jump onto it. Making the cats unsure if they want to climb on it or not. Not everybody wants to mount the cat tree to their wall, so I guess the wiggling is something we just have to live with.. except from that I’m very pleased!

For the price, this cat tree is amazing. It is solid. It is well made and I think most cats are going to absolutely love it. We got this in preparation for some new kittens who aren't yet big enough to enjoy it, but I don't think it will be long before that happens! Assembly is...a bit of a pain, but mainly because it is QUITE heavy and just time consuming. It took me about an hour and a half to get everything together, but I probably could do it in about an hour, if I hurried. The instructions are quite easy to follow and show every step along the way. While an Allen wrench is included, I really recommend having a hex head power screwdriver, as your hands will be quite tired otherwise, because there are a LOT of screws to put in place. As this will likely end up in a corner, I assembled the lowest "house" facing inwards rather than outwards and reverse the position of one of the sisal supports. Additionally, if the large XL one ends up being too big, the lowest level can be totally removed and the two supports moved over in place of the short ones and you can build it up essentially equivalent to the Large 54" version. You can also leave the top perch off and just put one of the screws in place of the joining rod. The fact that this can be modified and adjusted a bit to fit your specific needs is one of the things I really like about it. I am very pleased with this and am certain the kittens soon will be as well!

This cat tree was easy to put together and is very tall. My tree cats love to hang out over my head and lounge looking down. There is a little shake with my chunky 18lb boy, but almost every tree is going to shake when he races up it at full speed. The sisal is great for his claws and will be easy to replace with a glue gun and sisal rope for at least one extra life extension. It's soft and makes my cats happy.
