so judging from the reviews, i cannot just plug up my ipod cord to the usb place and play music? and i have to have $100 app?

My experience was that I did just that....plugged in my ipod cord and played the music, no extra app required. However, two things happened: a) the ipod's battery was depleted (for some reason, I expected one of the two-pronged cords would provide a charge) and b) the system's preset buttons became unresponsive to the touch. I unplugged the ipod and reset the preset buttons and I've had no problems at all since then (several months ago) - however, I haven't bothered to use the ipod since then. It may have had nothing at all to do with b).....

Will this fit in my 2007 Toyota Camary le????

Forget that nonsense! Mine has been jacked since weeks after I purchased it. Kenwood gave me the run around. So I just have to reboot the system every time it freezes. Eventually, I will just replace it with something better which works with an Android phone.

Yeah, it uses blue tooth. You shouldn't have a problem.
