Office 2010 Simplified

This really worked for me. I first rented it from the local library, I kept renewing it. Then I said to myself just buy it. It is very helpful to me. (My Bible) to referr to. I knew nothing about any Mirosoft Office, this is the lastest version and I'm told it's updated, 100% easier then previous versions. There are more detailed, per program books similar to this that go into Micro Office Excel, Power point, Word, etc etc.......

I am using this book to teach a group of homeschool high schoolers how to use MS Office. I wish there were sample files included. I have found the instructions to be clear and easy to follow. It is a good "step-by-step" tour of the software suite. It is working well for our purposes... although it takes me a lot of preparation to turn the book into lesson plans.

I did like this book. It is simple and to the point and it gives you pictures. Since I am very electronically challenged I found it very informative. My son just upgraded my PC and put Office 2010 on it. If I run into a problem, I go to this book. For me it was a wise purchase.

Disappointed with the condition of the book when received and thus returned it. Beyond that, i paged through and it would be an excellent book for a beginning user or as a refresher. If you need more in-depth or fancy abilities, then you will need a companion book that is more technical and less likely to have pictorial guidance.

I am still going through it for answers to some of my questions as I am working on a project for a dog club. So far I found what I was looking for. I need questions answered fast and I will later take my time and read it front to back.

Got a new laptop and finally a new Office program (old one was 2000, yikes!). I find these to be the best books as they walk you thru things like they were sitting next to you. Like them better than the Step by Step books. Good buy!

In upgrading from MS Office 2003 to 2010, I was hit with programs that I had no idea how to use. I wanted the cheapest instruction I could find, that would be helpful. This book is it. It's clearly written and illustrated. I'm very happy with it.

The book is nicely illustrated with easy to follow step by step instructions.The numbering system is easy to follow and the results are usually positive.I have two other books on Windows 2010 but I use this book more frequently.

The seller was great, fast delivery. The book, if you have already done a windows course such as ECDL IT qualification level 2, will be a repeat/ to simplified for you. If however you have not, (or you need a refresher), then this book will cover most of what you will study.The layout is clear and easy to follow, very good book.

I purchased this book for my father-in-law who is 78 and new to MS programmes. He has found it very helpful, and the step by step user guide and exercises are easy to understand. I have also borrowed it as an "old skool" user and have found lots of useful hints on how to maximise the new MS 10 programmes. Very useful guide.

A great book which does what it says on the tin - simplifies Office 2010. Very clear instructions/lessons. Ideal companion if you need to update your knowledge when job hunting etc

I've never really bought one of these guides before, but it is worth doing.
