Very robust design. Not highly finished (flat or polished) but more than good enough for it's intended purpose.Fairly sharp. Would give it close to 4 and 1/2 if that was an option. My only criticism is the sheath is not what I would call "top quality" but then considering the price you are getting the sheath pretty much for free.

The knife I purchased was not CFK it was marked IPAK. The knife is a really fine knife and you can't beat it for the money. I have read a lot of negative about these knives and there seems to be a lack of understanding about these knives but the knife itself is fantastic. I can only add highly positive comments. The knife is heavy duty 1/4 inch steel, said to be D2 but its not marked as to the steel. The knife is razor sharp and the sheath is made by a fine craftsman. I just can't say enough about this knife. Buy one and you will notice the fine craftsmanship. I truly would expect to pay much more for this knife.

CFK is an awesome company. The quality of sheath and knife is not your usual big 5 crap. Well worth the money. This is one of the three knives I own from CFK. It did not come with a whetstone which was very disappointing. But still a great blade.
