Very sturdy and cleans boots well.
I have bought several of these over the years. When they finally wear out after many years, it is usually cheaper to buy a new one than to buy the parts. One thing we like about this model compared to some others is that it has tabs on each end to put your foot on to keep it from slipping. It does come with screws to attach it to a wooden surface, but we put it on a sidewalk.

Great scraper, but issues with step plate occasionally
This works well, but took a star off only because the side step plates come off unless you attach the whole thing to a plank of wood. I don't want to do that, but I keep it off of the porch to keep the dirt from falling over it. Scrapes off boots well, but cant tighten the screws tight enough to keep a side plate from falling off when used on uneven ground. I would still definitely buy again, but don't like the hassle of the step plates not staying put.

Get the extra wide
I got the regular size one and wish i got the extra wide one.. it's a super tight fit for my boots.. but I love it and better than using a broom to knock the snow off my boots..100% worth it
